The Dodecanese region
According to Greek Mythology, Rhodes Island rose out of the sea as a gift to the Sun God Helios, who clothed it with light, giving to its title of island of 320 days of sunshine. Is is the largest and greenest of the Dodecanese Islands.
Whatever type of holiday you are looking for Rhodes has it all! It’s the largest and most visited Greek island and boasts the best sunshine record of all the Med islands. Rhodes has a spectacular history and Rhodes Town is one of the most beautiful Medieval towns in the world that dates back to the days of the Knights of St John. You can wander the maze of tiny streets on the Old Town taking in the atmosphere whilst visiting the sophisticated cafes, restaurants and boutiques that line cobbled streets.
If you like getting out and about, visit the famous Valley of the Butterflies, take a boat trip to the picturesque unspoilt island of Symi or visit Prassonisi (where the Aegean sea meets the Mediterranean sea) which is a great place for wind surfing. You can even take a boat trip to the neighbouring Turkey where you can haggle in one of the many bazaars.
Rhodes has numerous soft sandy beaches where you can take part in many water sport activities or sit back and relax looking at the clear blue sky and crystal clear water.
Rhodes - the island of sunshine... very easy to get to but very difficult to leave. A perfect holiday destination.
Direct flights fly from the UK and most of Europe from April-October.
The villa is just a 2 minute drive (or a15 minute walk) to the beautiful village of Lindos, with its white washed houses, winding cobbled streets, rooftop restaurants and cosmopolitan bars. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can even climb the many steps up to the ancient Acropolis or even more take a Lindian taxi, a donkey! The views from the summit are spectacular as you’ll see over the village taking in the crystal clear waters and the popular wedding location of St Paul’s Bay. It is the most photographed village in the whole of Greece as it’s both popular with holiday makers day-trippers.
Pefkos village is only a 3 minute drive (or a 10 minute walk) from our beautiful villa and it is a peaceful, laid back resort suitable for couples, groups and families. Every year, visitors return to this tranquil place to spend lazy days on the long soft Blue Flag awarded beach and to enjoy the many traditional Greek restaurants, tavernas and bars where you can try the scrumptious Greek food. You can hire a boat or jet ski if you want to try something different or even have a flying lesson, if you want to view Rhodes by air.
Both Lindos and Pefkos have supermarkets, banking ATM facilities, public telephones and places providing car and bike hire. In Pefkos centre you will find a local doctor and pharmacy..
The traditional villages of Lardos and Gennadi are a short drive away and perfect for mixing with the locals and enjoying a coffee or ouzo or some great Greek food. The resort of Kiotari has a huge stretch of shingle beach with some fantastic watersports and a great beach bar club to dance the night away.
There are many activities to keep busy on Rhodes island including the biggest waterpark in Europe, located in Faliraki (which is about 40 minutes drive away). This day out will provide a funday for all ages. Alternatively, in Afandouu you’ll find a golf course and in nearby Lardos you can try mini-golf or even take part in go-karting. No matter what you choose to do, you’ll have a great time !!!!

"Magical and Enchanting"
I stayed at this wonderful and beautiful Villa for my friends 50TH along with 6 other's...........To say this Home had me by the time I got out of the taxi is an understatement! Tastefully decorated, Immaculate, every bedroom with an en-suite, and balcony, so for any one who wanted time out, you had your own space. Well equipped modern Kitchen, with a massive fridge (for all those cold beers) , what more could you want...........I stepped outside to what seemed millions of stars beaming down on me , gardens lit up with Fairy Lights and a flood lit pool that changed colours.........comfy chairs for everyone, it was a perfect way to start our holiday. To wake up to blue sky's, and this beautiful setting (opposite the Bay of Navarone Remember the film?) and also beautiful Greek Countryside was something I had to get used to, kept pinching myself! We did have to get taxi's to other place's of interest, but that was no problem, the taxi driver's are happy to give you their Mobile Number's so you can call them direct, and you are only 10 Minutes away from places of interest and the beach resorts, very cheap around 8 Euro's. The 5 days I spent there , where filled with fun laughter and friends, I salute the owners of this what I call " A Roof top" for the way they have presented this unique Villa. Air con everywhere , lots of hot water for everyone..........Sun-bed's and shady areas, Massive Umbrella's, Immaculate pool, and everywhere you look a view to impress you. They have thought of everything, I hope one day I will return, its perfect just to stay there and not move (Yes you will have to stock up, either by renting a car or I am sure a taxi would take you and wait), but also if you fancy a night out, there are so many places to visit just minutes away, Go Try it, you will not be disappointed!

"Spectactular- 360 degree picture postcard views are almost unbelievable!"
I've just had an amazing break with a group of friends and family for my 50th birthday. The layout of the villa is excellent. It was spotless with top spec facilities (especially loved the showers which helped our group of 7 ladies get ready in super quick time with no squabbling!). There is on site support (Scott and Shelly) who popped in to check all was ok without being intrusive! The villa is set in extensive well maintained grounds with a number of places to sit in sun or shade. Whilst we were a group of adults, a friend commented that the villa would be excellent for small children too; there are plenty of places to explore and it's totally safe! There is beautiful pool surrounded by sunbeds for everyone (with plenty of towels!) Most amazing are the views across Navarone Bay and a beautiful night sky that we all thought was the best we've ever seen! It was all over too soon but we all returned from our trip refreshed and revived. We'll be back...

"Better than the pictures!"
We were looking for a villa to stay in Lindos as myself and my now wife got married there in May. We saw this villa and fell in love with the pictures, when we arrived it's even more beautiful than the pictures. It really is the best villa I've ever stayed in. It is reasonably priced and has all the amenities you need for your stay. My niece (2 years old) came with us and a cot and high chair was provided which was brilliant. The property itself is lovely and the gardens are fantastic. Views are beautiful, which is nice when you are sat by the pool. The walk to Lindos takes around 20 mins so if it's very hot then a car is recommended or a quad bike. Andy the owner is fantastic, gets back to emails immediately and is a good source of information. The property managers in Lindos are also lovely, they even stocked the fridge with essentials for our arrival. All in all we had a fabulous stay, can't wait to go back next year!
