The Beehive is a splendid uphill townhouse, built in 2013 to the highest spec. Offering accommodation over three floors, this contemporary property encompasses the latest eco-friendly technologies, including solar powered heating and an air recycling system. Exceptional design features include a glass-enclosed spiral staircase with a futuristic, curved doorway to the open-plan galley-style kitchen and sitting/dining area with access to the balcony.

The bright bedrooms feature high quality mattresses and luxurious cotton bed linen (one double one super-kingsize); and the house is set in a small and tranquil development, so your good night's sleep is ensured.

The house is equipped with a brand new fitted kitchen and spacious modern bathrooms. There is wireless Internet throughout and in the lounge you will find a Bluetooth speaker to connect all your own devices.

The location could not be better for your trip to Lincoln: Within a minute you reach the castle walls, and after 5 minutes walk you find yourself at the cathedral and on Steep Hill. In the evenings you can enjoy a wealth of international bars and restaurants in the popular Bailgate area, only steps away from the Beehive. With the well equipped kitchen you might equally put your feet up for a night in.

Lincolnshire is England's second largest county and offers outstanding landscapes shaped by a long history and fascinating developments.

It comprises of a variety of scenery, from the golden beaches on the coast, to the many watersways in 'The Vales' and 'Fens' to the rolling chalk hills of the Lincolnshire Wolds.

The heart of Lincolnshire is rural and local heritage and traditions are found in many of the villages and towns around Lincoln.

There are several parks in the vicinity including Whisby Nature Park, Hartsholme Country Park and Woodside Wildlife and Falconry Park, whilst a short drive to Horncastle, dubbed 'The Antiques Capital of Lincolnshire' is sure to inspire those looking for a little piece of history

The area offers several aviation attractions from World War II museums to present day airfields. Nearby Scampton is home to the Red Arrows and the Dambusters Inn and Heritage Centre, while RAF Waddington offers an annual air show.

Other local attractions include Doddington Hall, Lincolnshire's transport museum and Woodside Wildlife and Falconry Park, making Lincoln an excellent destination for all the family.

The Beehive is right in the heart of Lincoln and a great base from which to explore the city and its surroundings. You see the castle wall when you leave the yard and after a few more steps more will spot the Cathedral!

Do you like to explore our heritage? The impressive cathedral, the castle, the Collection, the medieval and wren libraries, Ellis mill, Bishops Palace and Lincolnshire live are only a selection of what there is to see. Maybe you join one of the very informative guided walking tours which start from the Visitors Centre.

Lincoln is full of galleries and museums, mainly located in the culture and cathedral quarters of the city. Visit the Usher gallery, one of the regions great art galleries or Harding House Gallery, often featuring young local artists.
