"A tranquil haven in rural Lincolnshire"

Sat nav friendly it took us right to the door. The accommodation was fantastic and I could have happily lived there all year round. Despite there being other lodges close by you felt you were in your own little paradise. The village of Bardney which is close by had all the outside facilities you could require and Lincoln was a surprisingly short drive away if you wanted to mix sight seeing with your stay. Everything was provided in the lodge and for our next stay the kitchen sink will be left at home!!! We had to cut our stay short due to unforseen circumstances and Katie and her team of helpers were absolute angels. We are looking to book another stay for next year and hopefully that will go well. We have already told loads of family and friend about the excellant facilities so hopefully they will enjoy a Rural Roosta experiance too

"Peaceful, relaxing, lots of wildlife, excellent accommodation."

We have stayed at Rural Roosts several times and have always found the accommodation outstanding and a warm welcome. In addition to a spacious and clean cabin you are welcomed by a hamper with everything for a cup of tea, delicious bread and butter and the lemon drizzle cake is exceptional. The location has enabled us to find new things to do every time we visit. The fishing is good with a choice of the lake or reservoir. If you want a peaceful and relaxing holiday with lots to do but able to do nothing in excellent surroundings with plenty of wildlife to entertain you then this is for you.

"Tranquil, relaxing, excellent accomodation"

This was our second visit to Rural Roosts, and we loved it just as much second time around. The location is lovely for a relaxing break, the only sounds are those of the sheep and the birds.

My son and husband enjoyed the fishing, the weather was very kind to us. I paid a visit to Lincoln Cathedral which was superb, and the just managed to ascend the Steep Hill.....

I would certainly recommend this location and accommodation to anyone thinking of visiting Lincolnshire, you won't be disappointed.

We booked our stay at the last minute so we didn't know quite what to expect but it was an excellent choice! The lodge was clean, spacious and well stocked. The view over the lake was amazing and we couldn't have wished for a more peaceful and relaxing break! I would highly recommend staying at Rural Roosts - we only stayed 3 nights but I wished we could have stayed longer!
