Just a stroll from the little village of Ballyhahill, 7 miles from Foynes and Glin, near the Shannon Estuary, this cottage provides the utmost of comfort from the moment you step inside. This is an ideal touring base for Limerick, Cork and Kerry also Clare is just across the estuary via a 30 minute car ferry from Tarbert.
There is a large open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a solid fuel wood burner perfect for unwinding after a days touring or sharing a nice evening meal with friends, not to mention the adjoining sun room with equal comfort and another TV.
Recently awarded a Four Star Rating by the tourism industry which is associated with An Board Failte Ireland

Limerick city stands where the River Shannon becomes tidal and is a historic place The county is full of quiet beauty and rural charm, offering excellent fishing, hunting and golf. Tipperary in Munster is famed in song and story and well known for its scenic beauty – from the Rock of Cashel to the Glen of Aherlow.
It has great heritage and culture with numerous Castles, Abbeys and Forts to explore. County Waterford boasts some of Ireland’s most pristine beaches, including a popular one at Tramore. It still has a sizeable fishing fleet at the Harbour of Dunmore East. The city itself is home to the world-famous Waterford Crystal.
The Limerick / Ballyhahill area
Enjoy beautiful private scenic country walks through Irish Dairy farm.
In nearby Glin you can enjoy beautiful walks along Glin pier. Glin offers Irish Pubs which provide traditional Irish music also you can enjoy Glin castle which is open to the public for tours by appointment.
In Foynes 7 miles away form the property you can find 'The flying boat' museum and the Irish Coffee Festival which is held in July, enjoy the world renowned Irish Coffee.
Listowel which is 13 miles away hosts a writers festival which takes place in May and the Listowel races are held in September.
There are many beautiful sandy beaches nearby Beale and Ballybunion also in Ballybunion there is a Championship golf course.
A shop and pub are only 170 yards away from the property a restaurant only 4 miles and beaches 30 miles away.
