This is an ideal touring base for Limerick, Cork and Kerry also Clare is just across the estuary via a 30 minute car ferry from Tarbert.
There is a large open plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a solid fuel wood burner perfect for unwinding after a days touring or sharing a nice evening meal with friends, not to mention the adjoining sun room with equal comfort and another TV.

Limerick city stands where the River Shannon becomes tidal and is a historic place The county is full of quiet beauty and rural charm, offering excellent fishing, hunting and golf. Tipperary in Munster is famed in song and story and well known for its scenic beauty – from the Rock of Cashel to the Glen of Aherlow.
It has great heritage and culture with numerous Castles, Abbeys and Forts to explore. County Waterford boasts some of Ireland’s most pristine beaches, including a popular one at Tramore. It still has a sizeable fishing fleet at the Harbour of Dunmore East. The city itself is home to the world-famous Waterford Crystal.

Listowel which is 13 miles away hosts a writers festival which takes place in May and the Listowel races are held in September.
There are many beautiful sandy beaches nearby Beale and Ballybunion also in Ballybunion there is a Championship golf course.
