The Limassol District
Cyprus where the sun is believed to shine 340 days every year is the third largest island in the Mediterranean and Limassol, the largest seaside resort on the island is a cosmopolitan town with something for people of all ages.
Paphos,Larnaca, Nicosia and the Troodos mountains are easily reached.
Limassol Castle is where Richard the Lionheart married Princess Berengaria of Navarre. There are many archological sites in the area with music & drama festivals taking place at Ancient Curium amphitheatre.
Sailing, wind surfing, water sking,scuba diving and other water sports are all available.
Festivals take place throughout the year. Easter in particular is well celebrated with some villages holding games for young and old. During the first 10/12 days of September the Wine Festival is held in the Municipal Gardens when you will be offered free samples while you watch traditional dancing. You can even tread the grapes.
Limassol / Agios Tychonas area
Ayios Tychonas situated about 3kms from the motorway & the beach is a small village with some shops, a bar and a taverna. More restaurants and shops are within a few minutes drive.
The town of Limassol has many shops catering for all tastes and budgets. Plenty of art galleries and museums can be found in the town. Leather goods & spectacles are good value and can be made to order in a couple of days.
Musical Sundays are held at the Onisilos open air theatre on the Ayios Tychonas seafront.

Fly to Larnaca or Paphos Journey time from Larnaca is 45 minutes and 55 minutes from Paphos Our representatives will meet you at the airport and escort you to the villa.

Further details indoors: On the first floor are two bedrooms both with built-in wardrobes, one with a balcony, and a full size bathroom with tub, shower, bidet & toilet. Stairs lead to the ground floor which has a separate toilet, lounge-diner and fully fitted kitchen with a proper cooker (not just 2 rings). The ground floor, which is surrounded by patios, has views to the sea.
Further details outdoors: The property is surrounded on three sides with patios and gardens and depending on the time of the year you are able to pick oranges & grapefruit for your breakfast. Garden furniture is provided on the patios for your enjoyment. The large patio off the lounge with the purpose built B.B.Q close by, is ideal for al fresco dining. The poolside area has toilets & shower and compimentary sunbeds, mattresses, tables & chairs.
Further details
Our friend Nicos or his brother Costas will be at the airport to meet and escort you to the villa. He does not make any charge for this service providing that you hire a car from him for the duration of your holiday. If you do not rent a car he will charge the cost of a taxi journey. So far as the return journey to the airport is concerned clients will drive their hire car themselves parking it where advised by Nicos or Costas.
Beach towels are not provided.
