The Limassol District
Amazing landscapes, clean, sandy beaches and traditional unspoilt villages can be found on this lovely island where vineyards and olive groves are in abundance. The termperatures are pleasing throughout the year with June, July, August being the hottest months and December to March the coolest. Greek is the country's first language but English is very widely spoken and understood throughout the island. The crime rate in Cyprus is relatively low compared to other countries and the local Greek Cypriots are extremely tourist friendly and helpful.
Limassol / Agios Tychonas area
Limassol has several award winning beaches with a high standard of excellence and safety and is popular for a variety of top hotels, spas, restaurants, bars, nightclubs and all main tourist attractions. For Golf lovers, there are several golf courses within 30 mins drive. Aphrodite Hills Golf resort being the most recently built. From Limassol, it is possible to reach all main areas of Southern Cyprus within a one hour car drive. The Troodos mountains are a popular ski resort in the Winter months, and is just 40 minutes from the Villa. September brings the annual Wine Festival and there are many other cultural events throughout the year. The villa is situated less than a ten minute drive from the ancient city kingdom of Amathus, where at certain times of year, plays and festivals take place.amongst the floodlit ruins. As a cosmopolitan city and the second largest in Cyprus, it offers a good contrast, with modern amenities and several historical places of interest such as the Mediaeval Castle and museum or visit the old town area for quaint bars and cafes to sit and people watch or head for the centre of town for some serious shopping. Limassol has something for everyone to enjoy.
Agios Tychonas is one of the oldest villages in Southern Cyprus and despite being an exclusive residential area wtih modern amenities, it still holds traditional values and is unspoilt, mixing old and new perfectly to create a calm relaxed atmosphere. The village has a supermarket, DVD store, Tavern wth satellite TV and pool table and five minutes walk from the villa you can sample one of the best Cyprus Meze in Limassol in the very popular 'Tri Alonia' Taverna, which offers a friendly atmosphere where you can mingle with the locals and perhaps enjoy some plate smashing on certain occasions! Explore the village on foot and perhaps meet the lovely, elderly gentleman who frequently rides his donkey through the streets. There are mountains to climb, fields to cross and valleys to srtoll through if you wish, maybe a spot of bird watching along the way, or head for the beach or a spa, just a five minute car drive away. How to get there
Agios Tychonas is just 40 minutes drive from both Paphos and Larnaca airports. See Cyprus Airways and Helios Airlines for good flight deals. All major car hire companies at both airports. For good deals try - SixT Car Hre / Payless Car Rental Transport to and from the airport can be arranged at an extra cost. Local bus service runs from Agios Tychonas village to Limassol town. Taxis readily available but agree price before jouney begins.

High quality garden furniture and sun loungers are available for the garden, sun terrace and pool area. (Beach towels not supplied).
Further details outdoors: The spacious, private, garden area is well maintained featuring orange, lemon, olive and palm trees among other plants. An ideal sanctuary in which to relax. The twin bedroom overlooks the pool which is directly opposite the villa, along with the sauna, neither of which are ever overcrowded due to the size and nature of the development. A driveway is situated at the side of the villa for private parking.
