About the home

A traditional and tastefully renovated 2 story stone house, located 20 minutes from Limasol. Aiyos Mamas is situated at 600 meters in the Troodos mountain range, which provides for an ideal climate. The village spring supplies delicious fresh water all year round.

Two storey traditional stone house fully furnished, fully air conditioned, very high standard. 3 bedrooms (sleeps up to 6 persons) and 2 bathrooms. Living room, dining room, fully equipped kitchen. Patio and balcony with great views.

Dorina Cottage is a restored traditional stone two floor village house, modernized to a high standard with out losing it's original character. Dorina Cottage is located in the centre of the Village of Aiyos Mamas.
The 180 sq meter cottage, Sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms: 1 master bedroom with double bed, and 2 bedrooms with twin beds (all beds with orthopaedic mattresses). All rooms have ceiling fans and are fully air-conditioned, although you should know that the weather in the summer in Aiyos Mamas at 600 meters, is dry and cool at nights.

Very Important!! Our village has its own spring and has fresh mountain spring water all year round!!
Rates above are for the entire cottage (sleeps up to 6 people).
Extra days above a week are euro 35-45 per day, depending on the season.
Please note: The house is fully air-conditioned, how ever all rooms have ceiling fans, during the summer, humidity is no more than 35%!
Aiyos Mamas stands at 600 meters and has pleasant cool summer nights.

Deposit: 15% of non-refundable deposit is required for details please contact us.
Balance of payment in Euro in cash on arrival.

Cleaning at end of stay or every 7 days( includes change of linen once every 7 days) is Euro 50 per cleaning.

Aiyos Mamas is 20 minutes from Limassol, located Commadaria Wine growing district at 600 meters in the Troodos Mountain Range. Near by to: the Caladonian Falls and the Mt Olympus Nature Trails; The " World Heritage" Byzantine Churches registered by Unesco. The famous Kykko monastery and much more...

Aiyos Mamas is small village with old and restored village houses. The small population is very friendly and hospitable. "Dorina Cottage" is a restored traditional stone two floor village house, modernized to a high standard with out losing its original character. and located in the heart of the village.

The Limassol Town area

Aiyos Mamas is located 30 minute drive from the Limassol beach. 30 minute drive to the Ski Lifts on Mt Olympus. Larnaca and Paphos airports are a 75 minutes away . Very close to the village you can find wineries that produce wonderful high class wines such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and other wines and wonderful local family taverns or the Greek Music taverns of Limassol for fun and entertainment. For Children the Donkey Farm and the Water Park near Limassol. For Archaelogy: The Castles of Limassol and Kolossi. The ancient site and Kourion.

There are plenty of things to do: Nature Walks with running water, such as "Caledonian Falls". Trails around Mt Olympus. Exploring other quaint stone villages near by. We shall provide a full list.

A local Grocery store in the village with local home grown products... and even " Costas" super market not far away..
Delicious fresh mountain water running through the taps of the house all year round.

From Larnaca Airport drive west along the Larnaca-Limassol High way to Limassol and exit at the Troodos exit.
From Paphos Airport drive east along Paphos- Limassol Highwayto Limassol and exit to the Troodos exit.

At Troodos exit:
Turn north at Troodos exit ( junction) and drive up the hill to towards Trimiklini-Platres . After 5 - 7 minutes from the junction you will arrive at the Korfi-Limnatis-Kapelio-Aiyos Mamas junction, from there Its another 15 minutes drive up to Aiyos Mamas Village. On the way you pass the villages of Korfi, Limnatis and Kapelio.

“Lovely cottage and perfect hosts” Dorina cottage is lovely (much nicer than it looks in the photos!) and is very well equiped. Alex and Yair could not be more helpful and welcoming, the village is pretty and quiet (with a good playground and nice local walks) and in a good location in the mountains. Definately recommended....

"We very much enjoyed our stay in Agios Mamas. Dorinna Cottage is a beautifully restored old cottage, very comfortable and cool. The house has all the modern conveniences you could require . We were met and looked after on arrival by the owners. They were happy to share their knowledge of the area and gave us useful information and advice on things to see and do. The location is great, being in the lower altitudes of the Troodos Mts but also being close (20 mins) to the coast. The only issue we had difficulty with was trying to book a stay of less then one week and although the weekly rate is reasonably priced, we ended up paying almost as much to stay 5 days as we would have if wed stayed 7. Still, well worth it and I only wish we could have stayed longer. "

Its a great place to spend your holidays!
Wonderful location - many attractions near the village and you can find some guides in the cottage. Owners and neighbors are always ready to help.
The cottage is not far from tha sea so you can spend some time there.
There are several places to eat very tasty national food (there is no such food on the coast). Alex recommended us some restaurants and places to visit.
All rooms are dry and cool even in summer, very pleasant furnishings and there is everything that you need to feel comfortable even if you want to cook by yourself.
I think that you need to rent a car: to travel around and to get from the airport.
We spend our Honeymoon in Cyprus and this cottage was the best location during our trip.
We spent a week there and fell in love with this place:)
Very pleasant place, people and beautiful nature around!
We definitely recommend to others.
