Penderff Holiday Cottage
£300–£750 / week
About the home
The cottage is spacious, light and airy and is a home from home. Directly outside is an enclosed gravelled patio area, overlooking the private garden. There are miles of grass tracks to explore and our land adjoins a large forest with many walks or bike adventures to be had. We are near to a village and shops etc, but far enough away so no cars or noise apart from the wildlife can be heard. Our cottage is ideal for famillies who want peace and quiet, not too far from the coast, (under an hour) or couple/adults who want to really chill out and escape the rush of modern day life. Our heated pool is perfect for those long hot days, after the exploring has been done. We are within an hour of many beautiful towns, within the outstanding Breton countryside.

The Brittany / Morbihan region

Brittany is beautful. Our dept "The Morbihan" actually means the little sea. Usually hot with long days in the summer, and a stunning varied coastline, from small intimate beaches to huge sweeping ones, and rocky coves, something for everyone. Our beaches are never crowded. We are an hours drive to the Golfe du Morbihan, an inland sea with many islands to be explored. Day trips by boat are a must! Every year is the Celtic festival at Lorient which last a week with music and much more. There are so many lovely places to explore and we are happy to advise. The land in general is varied and quite hilly and green with many rivers and streams winding their way through our region. There is always something to see and do.
The Lignol / Penderff area
We have many activities within striking distance. Canoeing, kayaking, water park, adventure parks, a very good zoo. For children, in the next village there is the "Clay Barn" where you can paint your own model/figure and have it fired and glazed to take home with you, many hours of fun. We are also well situated for golf courses, from a 9 hole course to several top class 18 hole courses, one of which runs alongside the sea. For the shopaholics we have Lorient or Rennes, all the top name brands can be founds. We also have a first class restaurant in our village, a creperie and bakery and more restaurants and shops 5 min drive away in Guemene.
