The Heart of England/Peak District
Tamworth is in the right in the middle and heart of Staffordshire in England. It has a wonderful castle dating back to the Middle Ages. The historic City of Lichfield is also close by and is the birth place of Doctor Johnson. The cathedral is amazing and dates back to late Norman times in the twelfth century (very old and very atmospheric!).
For more modern pursuits, Drayton Manor park and Thomas Land are right on the doorstep of the guest house. There is lots of fun to be had for old and young alike.
Other attractions include the Tamworth Snowdome, the National Memorial Arboretum, Plantasia, Ash End children's farm, the Fazeley and Birmingham canal network is also right on our doorstep offering boat trips, walks and quaint picturesque scenery.
We are about 30 mins from Birmingham international airport and the NEC.
We are situated in small village called Fazeley. Within a couple of minutes walk of the guest house there is a wonderful pub with a large car park, a small children's playground, a cocktail bar and restaurant. There are also several other restaurants in the village as well as take away Chinese, Indian and traditional fish and chips. The village has a Tesco Express supermarket, a pharmacy, a church and a post office.
We do have parking on the street outside the guest house and the local pub a few doors away also has a large car park.
The guest house is situated directly on Atherstone Street which is a busy through road. We are easy to find and accessible from the major motorway network.
