The Swiss Alps / Vaud/Lake Geneva/Swiss Alps region
Leysin was built in a slight indentation at 1260 m in the alps hidden from roaming bands of Germanic tribes after the decline of Rome. In addition to its unique location, Leysin is one of the sunniest villages in Switzerland. Its location in the middle of the wine producing centres of the Canton of Vaud adds to its old world charm. Local delicacies include; dried meats, cheeses, breads, and numerous pasteries.
Arrival to Leysin is an adventure whether by car or by the cog train from Aigle.
The view from the Berneuse (2220m) is amazing no matter the season.
Swiss fauna and flora abound in spring and summer. The constant contact with nature and its ever-changing view is breathtaking.
There are over 100 kilometres of ski pistes.
Spring and summer breezes offers a truly relaxing and refreshing Alpine setting for the casual hiker or the serious climber.
Year round events are available.

Guestbook
"Just a quick email to say "Thank you" for letting us stay in your wonderful apartment last week. We enjoyed our visit tremendously and were very impressed with the accommodation you offered. The apartment was very clean, spacious and well-furnished. We particularly appreciated the additional items provided (salt, cooking oil, soap etc) which one normally has to buy when renting an apartment and also the help you gave us during our stay.
