The Manor House is a wonderful Grade II listed property overlooking the village green in Bainbridge, a village in Wensleydale. There are five bedrooms – two doubles, a further double with an en-suite, a twin and a single. There is also a first floor bathroom, and a ground floor shower room. The fitted kitchen is farmhouse-style, there is a dining room with woodburner, and the two sitting rooms both have open fires. Outside, there is a small front garden, and a small rear yard, but the splendour of the Dales and the pretty village green are just on the doorstep. There is also off road parking for four cars. The Manor House is an ideal base for touring the Dales with family or friends.

Situated in truly beautiful countryside, the picturesque Wensleydale village of Bainbridge is just two miles from Askrigg - known to millions as ‘Darrowby’ in James Herriot's "All Creatures Great and Small". Bainbridge is also just four miles from the market town of Hawes, home of the famous Wensleydale cheese, and boasts an extensive village green which comes with its own set of stocks. This excellent holiday location is ideal for walkers, and offers a great base from which to explore the popular areas of Wensleydale and Swaledale, taking in the Aysgarth Falls, Semerwater, and castles at both Bolton and Middleham. The highest single drop waterfall in England, Hardraw Force, is close by too and stands at an impressive 99ft!

The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
