Renovated to a high standard, this charming cottage has retained much of its original character, including exposed beams and a stunning fireplace which now homes a wood-burning stove. There are two bedrooms – one king-size and one single – in addition to a kitchen with dining area and sitting room. Guests can enjoy a relaxing afternoon in the pretty patio garden, or follow the many peaceful walks throughout the village.

The Leyburn / Bainbridge area
Situated in truly beautiful countryside, the picturesque Wensleydale village of Bainbridge is just two miles from Askrigg - known to millions as ‘Darrowby’ in James Herriot's "All Creatures Great and Small". Bainbridge is also just four miles from the market town of Hawes, home of the famous Wensleydale cheese, and boasts an extensive village green which comes with its own set of stocks. This excellent holiday location is ideal for walkers, and offers a great base from which to explore the popular areas of Wensleydale and Swaledale, taking in the Aysgarth Falls, Semerwater, and castles at both Bolton and Middleham. The highest single drop waterfall in England, Hardraw Force, is close by too and stands at an impressive 99ft!

OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
