Home description
The Studio is on the first floor of a building in the grounds of our house. It is quiet and peacefull with use of part of the garden .The Studio is 2 miles from the Village of Ringmer with its Church and village green. there are also a full range of shops, 2 Pubs and an Indian Restaurant. The historic town of Lewes is just 3 miles away with its mainline station to London Victoria in 55mins and Castle, musems and antique shops. Brighton is approx 30 mins by car or approx 1 hour by bus. Nearby are many attractions Including Golf courses,Health Spa, and Stately Homes. There is a public indoor swimming pool in the village and another at the leisure centre in lewes. The area is close to the south Downs ideal for walking and cycling. Its a very pleasant walk or cycle round a country lane to the village pub or shops.

The Bustling seaside City of Brighton With its Splendidly Opulent Regent Royal Pavilion is a must to visit along with The Palace Pier.The Brighton Lanes Shops restaurants etc in what was once the Fisherman's Quarter There are 4 golf courses Nearby
Lewes / Ringmer area
From a quiet stroll up the lane or a walk through Plashett Woods for lunch at the Half Way House These walks and more are possible from the house. A short drive will take you to the South Downs for a walk along the beautiful South Downs Way. Bently Wildfowl and Motor museum is approx 2miles Lewes holds one of the biggest bonfire celebrations in the country on November the fifth with torchlight processions bonfires and fireworks The rest the year its a lovely old county town with a castle museums shops pubs and restaurants.

There is a bus service 5mins down the road to Brighton Eastboune and Lewes where there is a
mainline station to all areas making a car not essential. The initial taxi from Lewes station is about
8pounds 12 euros.London is an hour by train.
