The East Slovakia region
The house is siutated in most beautiful scenery in all seasons, ski fields in winter to hiking in summer, with wildlife tours eg bear watching butterflies flowers and birds to those who love unspoiled nature
Since the end of communism the original character of the country has returned, and in this lovely area it remains untouched.
Realtively unknown at present it is a place which once discovered people return again and again
For hikers there is the famous Paradise Park , for skiiers the fields are only 5 kms away, and for music lovers the wonderful Indian Summer festival is help each year in early October
f guests are top skiiers and want something more challenging still Levoca is about 30min drive to Tatranska Lomnica, one of the highest ski fields in Slovakia. Alternatively , Strbske Pleso is about 50 mins, or Jasna is another nearby area.
See http://www.mountainparadise.co.uk/winter/2_ski_snow/ski.php for details and piste maps.

Snow conditions for the High Tatra resorts:
Localplacesof interest are the well known ancient Spis Castle , a short drive away, the music festival in autumn "Babie Leto", and for hikers and nature lovers the wonderful bear watching conservation trips .
For lovers of hot pools and swimming, the nearby Aquacity provides many natural thermal pools to relax in and enjoy.
The major ski fields of eastern Europe are very economical compared to those in Western Europe and is ideal for skiers and snowboarders who want to escape the rat race of France, Switzerland etc. Slovakia still represents amazing value: you can ski for a fraction of the cost of the 'glamorous' resorts of France, Switzerland etc.
The history of the area is fascinating and museums well worth visiting.

"Amazing property with history. Great scenery and skiing facilities"
What a great house. Very spacious with both an authentic as well as contemporary feel. The house was clean upon arrival and has all the necessary essentials available to make it an enjoyable stay. Would thoroughly recommend levoca for a holiday. Skiing in the area is 1st class both for novices as well as professionals. The Tatra mountains are a short drive away and well worth a visit. The locals are very friendly and seem to welcome visitors to the area. Will definatley be revisiting soon. A+++++
