In Lesa on Lake Maggiore, 200 metres from the beach, in a quiet panoramic position in a typical restored farmhouse, apartment recently renovated with care and taste to create a romantic holiday accomodation equipped with Wi-Fi Internet connection. At 10 minutes' drive from Stresa in a quiet position. The house consists of 3 floors, the apartment is on the ground floor comprising a living room with sofa bed, kitchenette, a bedroom and a bathroom. It has an area for having lunch outside, with flowers and plants, equipped with a wrought iron table with glass top and a parasol. Private garden for sunbathing with sun beds with mattresses and a common garden of 23,000 square metres. where walks can be taken among the olive trees. The kitchen is nicely furnished with a round table for 4 persons and is equipped with an induction hob, electric oven, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer. It is fully equipped with cooking ware and tableware and has 2 types of coffee machines, American and Italian. The bathroom has a sink, bidet, toilet and shower. The living room has satellite TV with Sky subscription, the bedroom with a double bed, has a pretty wardrobe and a small armchair. In the entrance there is a shoe rack cupboard with mirror. Covered parking space for two cars, the whole property is fenced. We have two very friendly German Shepherds who love to play with children and adults. A large meadow is available where ball games can be played. A car is necessary as shops and restaurants are distant about 1 km. Bicycles can be rented at 15 € a day, please book them in advance.

Conditions
Cancellations are accepted only in written form (letter, telegram, fax or email).
The penalties are:
- 30% of the rental from 30° to 21° day before beginning of stay
- 50% of the rental from 20° to 9° day before beginning of stay
- 75% of the rental from 10° to 4° day before beginning of stay
- 100% of rental from 3° day before beginning of stay or no-show

The North Italian Lake District also called Verbano, is one of the most fascinating landscape you can find. You have the Lakes, Maggiore and Orta, the mountains. Mild sunny climate and good food makes this area a paradise. The little towns Lesa and Stresa are given an atmosphere of luxury and elegance by the many aristocratic mansions in their territory. A good place to organise a relaxing or sport holiday. The Liguria sea is only 2 hour drive.
The Lesa / Solcio area
Excursion to the world known Borromean islands, wide choice of spectacular golf clubs, mountain hiking, all water sports from sailing, swimming, water skiing and boats rent. Nice well known restaurants and shopping areas. In the winter season it's possible to ski at the Mottarone ski resort, that you can reach in 30 minutes by car or with cable car, where you enjoy a unique landscape of the 7 lakes: Lake Maggiore, Lake Orta, Lake Mergozzo, Lake Varese, Lake Comabbio, Lake Monate, Lake Biandronno. It’s considered one of the most beautiful natural balconies in the whole of the Piedmont and the north of Italy. An interesting calendar of event during the spring and summer.

The location is quiet with a magnificent view. It is in the country side and very quiet. It is just a few kilometers from the main attractions. Please ask for a map to access the property from the owner since the GPS will bring you to a section of the street that is a foot passage. The premises have been renovated and are clean and hospitable. The owners lives just above so it is convenient for checking in and out. We would recommend it to our friends. |

This was an excellent apartment - comfortable and very well appointed throughout with TV, SKY and internet connections. An added bonus was the wonderful garden area with beautiful views across the lake. The owners were most welcoming and helpful. |

The apartment in a large gated estate was spotless and very well appointed, containing everything we needed, including the all important wifi access. The location was ideal for visiting the lakes, which were stunningly beautiful whenever the sun burst from the wintery skies. From thebedroom, one could laze in bed and enjoy sun slowly rising from the horizon over the lake - fantastic view. The kids had a wonderful time with the 2 large but very well mannered and friendly german shepherds. The grounds were large and well kept and allowed the kids to play freely and safely with the dogs. Our host, Mr Papurello was most welcoming and helpful, a very easy going gentleman. We highly recommend this apartment and look forward to returning during the warmer season. |
