About the home

Stay right at the edge of the piste in our spacious apartment. Put your skis on at the door and, with direct access to Les Menuires, Val Thorens, Meribel and Courcheval. The whole of the Trois Vallees is at your feet.

Comfortably furnished for five people, the apartment has a separate bedroom with double bed. In the lounge are a twin sofa bed and a single pull-down bed (see plan). If you are used to 'five people all in one space' style of living, this apartment is a step up. Great for anyone who likes a room of their own. Don't be fooled by the 'but it still only sleeps five'; its quite a bit bigger than the standard smaller apartments. By day 2 you will be glad you treated yourself.

You’ll find all the home comforts - because it is our home away from home- including a television with CNN and CNBC in English plus local French channels. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher and microwave as well as a regular oven. Cosy duvets, bed linen and towels are provided, so there’s no need to carry the extra baggage. Apartment cleaning at the end of your stay is included in the price.

And the hot water doesn't run out.

A convenient, covered parking space (underneath the apartment building) is available at a supplement of £30.00 per week. Free outside parking is available nearby. A heated outdoor swimming pool, ice rink, cinema, supermarket and numerous bars and restaurants are within a couple of minutes walk of the apartment.

Three Valleys is the world's largest ski area and encompasses the top international resorts of Courchevel, Meribel, Les Menuires and Val Thorens.

The Les Trois Vallees / Reberty area

'In any list of the best places to ski in the world, the Trois Vallées in France is likely to come pretty near the top. There may be steeper, snowier or more scenic resorts, but none has better connections than these three linked valleys' said the Daily Telegraph. All resorts in the Three Valleys are easily accessible from the apartment which is situated right at the edge of the piste. The nearest gondola lift is only a 1 minute ski away and takes one straight to the top of the ridge from where Meribel and Val Thorens are directly accessible. Plus there are three other spokes to Reberty's 'star' location. La Masse - Reberty's private mountain, Orelle the fourth valley of the Three Valleys (and the highest skiing), and the run down to St Martin de Belleville, one of the France's prettiest mountain villages. The Belleville valley is better value (ie cheaper) than Courchevel, but shares access to the same great ski area. And Reberty, with its clusters of wooden chalets, is far prettier than near neighbour Les Menuires. If you are looking for the best skiing in the Alps at the best value, this is a tough one to beat. It's why we ended up here.

Both Lyon, St. Exupery airport and Geneva airport have frequent daily flights from Heathrow and Gatwick and are two hours drive away. Whilst coach services from the airports to Moutiers exist, we recommend you hire a car as it will be much quicker and doesn’t cost much more. Alternatively, the resort is eight to nine hours drive from Calais and the motorway runs direct to Moutiers at the foot of the mountain (27km from Les Menuires). On Friday evenings the 'snow train' runs directly from Waterloo to Moutiers, returning on Saturday morning.
