ExteriorSituated in the peaceful Bettaix, a charming typically Savoyard village, lively all year long with restaurants and shops, the chalet also has an ideal location for the slopes: the chairlift only 150m away will take you right into the heart of Les Menuires resort where you can enjoy skiing across the whole of the prestigious 3 vallées domain, the largest in the world. After several fun hours on the pistes, guests will certainly appreciate the direct route back to the property via a blue run which ends 100m away. Along with downhill skiing and snowboarding there are a whole range of activities to be enjoyed: cross-country skiing, ice-skating and snow-shoeing in the winter, and hiking, mountain-biking, fishing and water-sports in the summer months for example. Spas and health centres are nearby should you prefer something a little less energetic!You can enjoy the sunshine and fresh mountain air in the privacy of the chalet too from the beautiful south-facing balcony terrace which also has a fabulous Jacuzzi tub. Interior This prestigious chalet was recently built and offers guests every modern comfort and top of the range facilities for a perfect holiday in the mountains. It is decorated in a contemporary style but still with plenty of that classic chalet charm. The spacious living room has a lovely, inviting air with its central fireplace, cozy sofas and large bay window opening on to the terrace with its incredible views and Jacuzzi. A flat screen television, DVD player and Hi-Fi system are great additions to a relaxing night in. Open-plan style the large dining table is just adjacent and a few steps away is the fully-equipped kitchen providing everything you could need to self-cater and more: traditional range oven, electric and induction hobs, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, and even raclette equipment so you can experience the famous Savoyard dish in your own kitchen.Also on this floor are two bedrooms with double beds and two bathrooms with both bathtub and separate shower, stylish and immaculately kept.The second floor houses the remaining four bedrooms, all of which have twin beds. There are three bathrooms with large shower cubicles.Other facilities are : hair-dryers, ski-storage, washing machine and tumble dryer, cot and high chair, bed and bath linen.Chalet du Lotus has a range of ´prestige´ services available at a supplementary cost. These include daily chalet cleaning, half-board catering, taxis on request, leisure activity organization (horse-drawn carriage rides, dog-sledding, quad bike hire etc.) and reservation and delivery of your ski materials. This tasteful chalet is ideal for a large group of up to 12 looking to enjoy the mountains, winter or summer.
