The main house has 3 double bedrooms with balconies, plus a bunk room, a main bathroom with bath, separate shower and wc, the master bathroom has its own en-suite shower room with wc, all of which are located on the first floor. On the ground floor is the kitchen (with access to the road and the front garden), dining area, and lounge (with access to the shared rear courtyard). The apartments living, dining, kitchen area is located on the first floor along with the shower room and wc. On the second floor there is one double bedroom and one twin/double bedroom the latter has its own balcony with stunning views. Each property has its own ski storage area. From one of the house's bedrooms it is possible to access the apartment via the joined balcony or through the rear courtyard.

The rear courtyard is completely enclosed and is shared between the house and the apartment, it is an ideal place for bbq's and eating al fresco. It catches the sun from early morning right through to late afternoon. In the winter it is a great place for kids to play in the snow. The front garden is very large and again is completely enclosed, it gets the sun from lunch time through to early evening and has a large grassed area for sunbathing or playing games on. There is no private parking but just a short walk away there is plenty of free parking within the village.

The Rhone/French Alps region
The 3 Vallees ski area is the largest in the World with more than 600km of skiing. It has something for every level of skier from beginners to families to extensive off-piste for advanced skiers. The Belleville valley alone has 300km of skiing. St Martin de Belleville and St Jean de Belleville and the surrounding villages still retain all the character of traditional French village life and are steeped in history. The area is just as appealing during the summer months as in the winter with plenty to offer for everyone.
Les Trois Vallees
St Jean de Belleville is known locally as the doorway to the Belleville valley and offers the tranquility and beauty of a traditonal mountain village. The village church (St Jean-Baptiste Baroque Church) is one of the churches on the "Sentiers du Baroque" and is the oldest in the valley with a listed altar piece and is open to the general public. There are various walking itineraries starting from the village and maps can be obtained from the Mairies office in the village centre, walking trails are well maintained during the summer season (June - September). Nearby attractions during winter months include downhill skiing, cross country skiing, snow-shoeing, sledging (both Les Menuires and Val Thorens have dedicated sledging runs, Val Thorens boasts the longest dedicated sledging run in Europe at over 6km long), dog-sledding, Leisure and Spa facilities, Cinema's, ten pin bowling, varied bars and restaurants to suit all tastes.
During the summer months there is just as much to do and see, from walking, cycling/mountain biking, fishing (both river and lake), white water rafting, via ferrata, climbing, tree top adventures, summer skiing in Val Thorens, horse riding, golf (situated in Meribel or Courchevel), quad and motorbiking. Plus Les Menuires boasts an impressive children's activity programme, inlcuding archery, bouncy castles & trampolines, donkey rides, arts & craft sessions plus much more.
Why not try the 2 Michelin Star restaurant "La Bouitte" situated in St Marcel or for a truly spectacular setting try the "Le Chateau des Feissons" just past Moutiers (pre-bookings only) both open summer and winter serving spectacular food and wines. Or the L'Oxalys 1 Michelin Star restaurant in Val Thorens - the highest michelin starred restaurant in Europe.

"Perfect ski chalet with very easy access to the 3 valleys"

"This is a warm and comfortable property and fantastic value"
St jean is a small village but has easy access to the ski slopes of the three valleys. we drove to St Martin and Les Menuires most days and had no problem parking. Because we had beginners who could not ski the full 3 valleys we drove to Courchevel. Parking was expensive but the skiing was good. Parking in St Martin and Les Menuires was free and easy to find so we stayed there for the rest of the week.
\the property was extremely cheap for the facilities provided. Until we arrived I was worried it was too good to be true but I need not have worried .It was roomy with comfortable furnishings and all sorts of games,play station, television, cooker dishwasher etc etc.
Not surprisingly the property is on a hill so would not be ideal for people with mobility issues but for skiers or walkers it was fabulous
