Les Menuires may be found in the Belleville Valley, centrally located within the famous Trois Valles ski area. Les Menuires is a modern winter sports resort characterised by long descents with a guarantee of snow. Aside from skiing, there are countless other activities on offer so that visitors never have the chance to get bored. Les Menuires consists of several districts, each with its own city centre filled with shops, restaurants and aprs-ski choices. La Croisette is the most famous of the areas popular for their nightlife.
Les Menuires is chock full of sporting goods, clothing and souvenir shops, 22 supermarkets and no less than 34 bars and restaurants, with menus which naturally boast delicious local delicacies. The different areas within Les Menuires have excellent connections with the free ski bus or passenger lifts so that you can easily go out or shop in another neighbourhood, should you so desire.
The luxury detached chalet was built in the Savoy style, using generous amounts of wood and natural stone, and with stylish interior design. With a liveable floor area of 165 m2, the detached chalet may be described as extremely spacious. The detached chalet is heated with electric radiators which may be programmed individually. The detached chalet is equipped with excellent insulation, including double glazing. Two large boilers guarantee sufficient hot water. The detached chalet has its own covered parking space in the garage building and a ski locker in the detached chalet.

Layout of the chalet:
Entrance hall with roomy wardrobe and toilet, large living room with beamed ceiling and tiled floor, spacious sitting area with TV, large dining area, sliding glass door to spacious corner balcony which usually faces south/west with a view of the mountains, beautiful open corner kitchen with 4-ring ceramic cooker, cooker hood, oven, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and coffeemaker.
The roomy chalet has three floors. The entrance hall with the living room and kitchen are on the ground floor in all of the chalets, and some chalets also have one bedroom and connecting bathroom on this floor as well. The other bedrooms and bathrooms may be found on the upper and lower floors. Every floor has its own toilet.

Accommodation, all taxes, gas, water and electricity. Made up beds on arrival, clean towels, television, cleaning at the end of the stay (except the kitchen and the dish washer).
Covered and public parking places. There is up to 1 parking place in the covered garage per chalet or apartment. Possible extra cars can be parked on the central parking place. Availability in the car park reserve by availability. Pets NOT permitted.
Conditions
A 25% deposit will be required to confirm a booking and the full balance will be due 6 weeks before departure (if the booking is made within 6 weeks of the departure date, full payment will be required immediately). There will be a security deposit payable to reception on arrival and tourist tax will apply.
The Rhone / French Alps / Savoie region

The Les Trois Vallees / Les Menuires area
The Trois Vallées (“ Three Valleys ”) ski area is centrally located in the Olympic Savoy, and with 600 km of prepared slopes and 200 ski lifts spread over three valleys, it is the most attractive ski area in France and one of the most beautiful in the world.
The ski area comprises 3 valleys: the Belleville Valley , home to the famous ski resorts St. Martin de Belleville, Les Menuires and Val Thorens; the Les Allues Valley , with renowned ski resorts such as Méribel, Méribel Village and Mottaret and last but not least, the Courchevel Valley , with ski resorts such as La Tania, Les Praz and the ever-fashionable Courchevel.
The actual ski area starts at 1300 m and goes up to 3200 m, offering a considerable choice of ski lifts at all levels, allowing abundant opportunities to ski throughout the season, even during times of poorer snow conditions. The excellent lift capacity will ensure minimal lift lines, even during the busiest weeks of the year.

We stayed in Chalet #1 in Feb 2012 when the snow conditions were marvelous. The chalet was plenty large enough for a party of 10 adults and teenagers and the additional space in the basement level was a welcome bonus as were the sauna and boot warmer. This hamlet of chalets is located in the quiet Preyerand area below the main centre of Les Menuires. There is a narrow piste running above and below the hamlet and if there is good snow cover, it is possible to join these pistes and ski down to lifts that then rise to the main centre at Croisette, otherwise use the ski-bus as the walk is too far. We had a vehicle with us so the location was not an issue, some of our party arrived at the main bust station in Les Menuires and it is too far and too difficult to walk with luggage from there, so either the local ski-bus or a taxi (if available) is a must to get to the accommodation. The nearest minimarket is quite a considerable distance away, so bear that in mind if self-catering. There is a reasonable ski-hire shop and a couple of restaurants and a bakery nearby plus an on-line service that delivers fresh bread & croissants to the chalet door daily. The chalet we stayed in is no longer in pristine condition but has not deteriorated to an uncomfortable level, there were one or two niggles that we reported on our departure, the main one being the extractor fan in the en-suite on the floor bedroom which ran 24x7! Overall, the location, size and quality of the chalet suited our requirements and we had a very pleasant stay. Response: Dear, Thanks for your review.
