- "La Versanne" is set on a coastal hillside just off the coast road that leads to St. Maxime, Port Grimaud and St. Tropez, overlooking one of the area's many sandy coves.
- The house itself is light and spacious and has been beautifully re-furbished with a stylish mix of antique and modern furniture. The open plan living spaces all open out on to terraces and balconies and there are a variety of garden and pool terraces, which allow for both family entertaining or more "personal" space. Although close to all the local popular tourist attractions, it is very peaceful and relaxing.

Provence continues to be one of the most popular holiday destinations in Europe, and no wonder, with its huge variety of attractions.
From glamorous trendy hotspots such as St. Tropez, Cannes and Nice, to pretty, unspoilt hilltop villages with winding streets, authentic French cuisine and local vineyards, to spectacular natural parks and lakes such as the Gorge du Verdon.
All manner of experiences lie within an hour's drive of most properties, all enhanced by the Mediterranean sunshine!
Les Issambres area
There are local restaurants and supermarkets nearby the villa, and the village of St. Peire can be reached, in a few minutes, by car for a wider selection of shops, a lovely sandy beach and a local market held every Monday. All along the coast road there are watersport activities such as windsurfing, jet-skiing and sailing.
Ste. Maxime is a bustling port, about 10 minutes away (depending on the time of year). It has lovely winding streets, lots of interesting shops and boutiques and a huge variety of restaurants. here you can also take a ferry to St.Tropez and Port Grimaud. The town is also known for its golf courses.
Port Grimaud is a further 10 minutes away - a lovely, man made, marina village, where residents park their boats by their houses! A lovely central square offers cafes and restaurants. No cars, except those of residents are allowed inside the domain, so easy to walk and sightsee.
St. Tropez is another 10-15 minutes along the road - a main tourist attraction with trendy bars and restaurants and a regular market, held on Tuesdays and Saturdays, in the main square. Just outside the town is the famous "Pampelonne Beach" which stretches for over a mile and has many famous beach clubs where celebrities can be spotted!
Behind the beach resorts, there are many pretty hillside villages and vineyards such as Le Garde Frienet, Plan de la Tour, Gassin, Ramatuelle and the fortified village of Grimaud.
How to get there
- "La Versanne" is 50 minutes from Nice airport, about an hour from Toulon.
- Nice is serviced by all major airlines from all major UK airports - BA, BMI, Easyjet.
- Hire car companies are also well represented at the airports - Avis, Hertz, Europcar.

Sliding glass wall opens up on to a large family terrace with electric canopy and an outside dining table. 2 double bedrooms, both en suite, with French windows leading on to garden terrace.
- Upstairs: Large formal living room with beamed ceiling, TV and DVD player. French windows lead out to upstairs balcony - spectacular sea views. Circular entrance hall leads to double bedroom, with views over garden and pool - French doors to upstairs balcony. Also, twin bedroom, with fantastic views over garden and pool. Cloakroom with toilet and sink, and bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.
Further details outdoors: The villa is accessed through electric gates, which lead to a parking area, at the front of the house, which can take up to 4 cars.
There are sunbeds and parasols around the pool area and more daybeds on the garden terraces.
Barbecue available for outside dining.
The pool is accessed by steps and reaches 10ft in depth. There is a security gate and pool alarm.

The pool is only heated from October-April.
The property and gardens are maintained by an english couple who are also on hand to help with any general queries.

- Property not suitable for children under the age of 8. - Strictly no smoking allowed inside the house. - 30% deposit required at time of booking - full payment required 8 weeks before arrival. - Refundable damages security deposit of £800.00 required with final payment. refundable at the end of your stay following satisfactory property inspection. - Extreme cleaning i.e. more than 7 hours or extra laundry will be charged and taken from security deposit - receipts will be given. - Guests and their belongings stay at the villa at their own risk. no responsibility can be taken for loss or damage to personal property.
