This delightful house has wonderful panoramic views over the Gulf of St Tropez that sets it apart from many others. All aspects of the villa, patios and pool overlook this magnificent vista and help ensure a holiday to remember. The villa is a spacious and airy family home with sun patios, a large private pool directly in front of the house, and a shaded dining patio.
The bustling coastal village of San Piere-Les Issambres, with its sandy beaches and rocky coves, is 5 mins drive down the hill.
A 'Petit Casino' supermarket, banks, baker, butcher and plenty of restaurants to choose from, make it easy to stay put and go no further! In high season a small passenger ferry runs frequently from the Marina to St Tropez. And for more choice the lovely town of Ste Maxime is just 15 minutes drive.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Var region
Provence is one of the most popular holiday destinations in the world, with its blend of sun-baked hilltop villages and glamorous resorts like St Tropez and Nice. Nice shows the influence of years as a world-class resort with its famous Promenade des Anglais and the city offers a real taste of France with its amazing bouillabaisse.
There are plenty of local beaches and coves, most with parking along the scenic coast road. In addition there are the famous beaches of St Tropez - Pampelonne and Club 55 for example. It is a great day out to take the ferry to St Tropez and then a short Taxi ride to these famous hang outs of the rich and famous - better than chancing the traffic in high season.
Les Issambres area
The stretch of coast between St Aygulf and Ste Maxime is particularly attractive, as it combines some of the best sandy beaches and pretty rocky coves on the Riviera, with all the usual attractions, such as water skiing, wet bikes, a sailing school, windsurfing, boat charter trips and boat rental and ferries across the bay to St Tropez. When you want a break from suntanning and warm water there are a host of marinas and harbours to visit; such as the delightful Port Grimaud and the waterfront at St Tropez, with its painters, entertainers, fashion models and fabulous boats.
There are of course no end of other places of interest; such as the picturesque medieval village of Roquebrune sur Argen only 15km away and the ancient town of Frejus with all its Roman buildings.
For a pleasant day trip, you can visit the Gorge du Verdon - one of the most spectacular canyons in Europe, or visit the perfume manufacturing towns of Grasse and Eze. And of course not forgetting the favourites of the rich and famous - Cannes, Nice and Monaco.
How to get there
A car is essential. The villa is 2km up hill from the nearest main road and village.
Nice Airport is just 1 hour by Autoroute, and some flights also come into Toulon about 1.5 hour away.

Further details indoors: The villa centres around a large, high beamed living room with French windows leading onto the patio and pool area. Comfortably furnished and features Sky TV, DVD, Bose Wave radio/CD/ iPod player and ceiling fan. It is a cool retreat from the sunshine.
All rooms have shutters and fans to keep cool and all rooms have electric wall heaters for cooler, low season evenings. The living room has a large log burning fireplace for a really cosy atmosphere.
There are 4 bedrooms in the villa: Master bedroom with superking size bed (6') and en-suite shower room and patio doors opening onto private balcony and sea view. Bedroom 2 with double bed and own bathroom with patio doors to terrace and sea view. Bedroom 3 with double bed and en-suite shower room and patio door opening onto private terrace with sea view. Bedroom 4 with twin beds, exclusive use of Family Bathroom and patio door opening onto balcony and sea view.
The limed oak fitted kitchen features dishwasher, 4 burner hob, oven, fridge and microwave. It is painted in bright, Provencal colours and accesses the exterior dining patio directly, as well as the living room
Further details outdoors: Whether you want to sight see and explore, the exhilaration of water sports or just to mosey around the local markets and head back to relax by the pool, the villa is the perfect location. The villa is 5 minutes drive from the pretty coastal village of San Piere-Les Issambres with lots of shops - baker, banks, grocer, butcher and supermarket - and a weekly market. There is a modern marina and a good selection of restaurants, cafes and beaches.
The property is accessed via a steep driveway and narrow steps. It can be difficult for those with mobility issues. There is a lift that can be activated by special request, accessed from garage at the top of the driveway, but there are still steps that need to be negotiated. A car is essential as the property is 2km up hill from the nearest main road and village.
The pool is circa 30' x 15' and has a cover to help protect the heat on cooler evenings. It is not heated, but in the main season is usually between 70 and 80 degrees.
The main outdoor area including pool, sun patio and dining terrace are all on the same level as the villa living room. The dining terrace is mainly shaded and has a brick built charcoal barbecue for cooking and dining alfresco
Further details
The villa is cleaned weekly on Saturdays. Bedlinen is provided and changed weekly by the cleaner. Bath and hand towels are provided and changed weekly by the cleaner.
NOTE: Pool and beach towels are not provided and clients need to provide their own.
Due to the proximity of the pool and the many steps around the property, the villa is not suitable for very young children (under five). Although the pool is fitted with a pool alarm system which clients can activate, it is not possible to isolate the pool from the rest of the property. For this reason, the owners have decided to decline enquiries for young families.
Conditions
To allow cleaning, the villa must be vacated by 10am and arrival is from 4pm
