About the home

The prices of Chalet Vinson are all inclusive of 2-hour daily house maid service, and are for the whole chalet.
Available for exclusive use this winter is Chalet Vinson, a serviced chalet located 500m up the Chaudannes road immediately above the township of Les Gets.

This chalet has been specifically designed and constructed over 4 years to a constantly evolving design in order to reach the pinnacle of comfort that will set a new benchmark for luxury in Les Gets.

Spacious - Chalet Vinson has six bedrooms, all of which are decorated to the highest possible standards. The beds are new, comfortable and large, as well as being furnished with the most comfortable linens and cushions possible. The upper bedrooms have access to the second story balcony, and two of the lower bedrooms have direct access to the terrace and hot-tub. All feature immaculate en suite bathrooms, most with double-sinks, and tiled shower areas. Full size bath-sheets, and robes are provided along with a huge store of house slippers in the hall area.

Easy to Get To - Les Gets is located just 1 hour drive from Geneva airport via the excellent French motorways. Alternatively, private transfers can be arranged. Chalet Vinson changes over on Saturdays, please enquire about availability for long-weekends, short-breaks or corporate lets.

Entertaining - The main entertaining area extends the full width of the Chalet from the designer kitchen at one end, across a dining room table with the best view in Les Gets to the comfortable TV lounge at the other end. The central real log fire warms the room in any temperature, and there is further entertaining area in the form of an balcony facing the view with a second table. Downstairs, there is a games room with bar and pool-table, and a second TV which has it's own connection to the satellite TV and also a Playstation 3 games console for entertainment.

Custom-Built - The kitchen is of exceptional quality and was designed and fitted specifically to meet the requirements of the chalet. It has 5 hobs, 2 ovens, a double fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and all the cooking and serving plates anyone could require. A number of Chef to Chalet services can be arranged for your stay in Chalet Vinson.

The Rhone / French Alps / Haute-Savoie region

The French Alps are those parts of the Alps mountain range which lie in France. They are within the regions of Provence-Alpes-Côte-d'Azur and Rhône-Alpes.

On and off-piste - People staying in Chalet Vinson have all of Les Gets and Morzine to choose from for skiing, and by extension, the whole of the Portes-du-Soleil and it's 650km of piste and great off-piste. The ski area of Les Gets consists of mainly many blue and red runs, along with the many red and black runs on Mt.Chery across the other side of the valley, which also has a ski park as well. A free bus connects the two sides of Les Gets. The closest lift is 10 minutes downhill walk from the Chalet, and there is a free ski bus that goes up and down the road all day long.

The Les Gets area

Situated mid-way between Mont Blanc and Lake Geneva, Morzine is stunning for Alpine scenery, nestled between forests and summits. Here life is leisurely, and the village has lost nothing of its original charm and Savoyard way of life.

Ideally placed right in the middle of the Portes du Soleil, Morzine is the gateway to a marvellous winter playground of 650 km of ski-slopes. In summer, these slopes become sign-posted footpaths for trekking and MTB. Not forgetting the miles of open spaces surrounding the ski-runs from where you can head off into the middle of nowhere…

Either for a few days or a longer holiday, both idlers and sports fans will find everything they need for a real break with family or friends - everything for a perfect, peaceful and pleasurable holiday. Sharing, laughing, playing, discovering, with loads of thrills, fresh air, great food and views. You’ll have a ball!

The resort also has a bustling summer timetable including mountain biking, golf, walking and caving amongst others. It is rumoured that total number of visitors is actually greater in the summer season. The municipal swimming pool is Olympic size and caters for the bustling tourist flock, but it immaculately maintained.
