"The best Gite we have ever stayed at!"
This property lived up to the description on the web site, and then some! The place was in a wonderful position in beautiful countryside with the village within walking distance if you didn't want to take the car, and lots of places of interest within easy reach. The amenities, including a very clean pool, were first class. The games room and equipment was great fun (we were four adults!). The welcome pack was very welcome! The only thing we could fault, was lack of enough umbrellas around the pool area to provide shade, a minor detail. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to all our friends and families and hope to return for another stay.

"Very comfortable with a lovely feel about the place."
The accomodation was well equiped and beautifully maintained. The gardens and the pool were a pleasure. We also had great fun with the pool table, the slight warpping of the table adding an extra challenge to the game and levelled up the abilities of the players (very entertaining). Karen and Rob do a great job keeping the house and gardens in good order.
I had difficulty in sleeping despite the beautifully comfortable beds due to the fact that I'm a very light sleeper and I found the traffic disturbing. Also the single bed in the upstairs bedroom was a bit on the short side and not really suitable for a child much older than 11.
We love the area and this is our fourth year to Les Eyzies. We go for the horse riding at ferme de fonluc, which I thoroughly recommend. The selection of eateries in the village is very good and there is something for everyone.
I left mine and my daughter's passport, laptop and work diary in the gite by mistake when we left. Nikki, the owner has been absulotely amazing in helping to locate them and making arrangements to bring them back to England for me when she goes over there next week. Also, LD Lines were brilliant in helping us to get back into the UK with just my drivers licence and my daughter's bank card.
Overall, we had a lovely stay at Petite Maison and so long as you are not a very light sleeper, I would thoroughly recommend this gite.
The inflatables in the pool were great fun too, thank you.
