A security deposit of CHF 200 is charged and if there are no missing items or damages the deposit will be returned on departure.
Final cleaning is mandatory and charged at CHF 80. If bed linen is required this is charged at the rate of CHF 10.00 per person.
Tourist tax is extra and is charged at a rate which is dependent on the number of adults and the age of any children and this amount will be confirmed at the time of booking. As a guideline Tourist Tax: adults CHF 1.80 per night; Children 6-15 years CHF 0.90 per night.
Please note that arrival and departure days are Saturdays with the exception of the months of May, June, July, August, September, October and November 2011 when by arrangement other days may be possible.
Payment:
Reservation made 30 days or less prior to the first day of the stay: the full amount is due.
Reservation made 31 days or more prior to the first day of the stay: 50% of the full amount of the reservation is payable within 10 days of the reservation being made and the remaining balance no later than 30 days prior to the first day of the stay.
Check-in starting at 16.00 hours. Check-out before 10.00 hours.

The Swiss Alps / Valais/Swiss Alps region
Les Crosets is the highest resort on the Swiss side of the Portes du Soleil region. It is located at 1670m (5,500ft) in the canton of Valais. It is a small resort and has a tranquil untouched feel about it compared with the larger commercial resorts.
Les Rhodos chalet is in a prime position with direct views across to the famous Dents-du-Midi mountain range and a 5 minute walk down to the village shops and ski lifts.
Directly from the chalet there are mountain paths winding all throughout the region, making it the ideal place for hiking, and as some of the chairlifts are open in Summer, from mid June to mid September, it is a fantastic base to explore the full region.
Les Crosets is a 25 minute drive up from the nearest large town of Monthey. Close to Monthey there are vineyards, castles, museums and a golf course at Aigle, which is about 10 minutes drive from Monthey.

Les Crosets is an important hub on the network of chairlifts that cross from Switzerland to France. The Portes du Soleil region has a microclimate that gives the best chance of sunshine. Enjoy the fresh mountain air and stunning views.
Hiking, walking, mountain biking, cycling, tennis, swimming and ice skating are just a few of the fantastic summer activities and sports that Portes du Soleil has to offer during summer throughout the twelve villages in the region.

Driving from Geneva:
Take the Highway 1 to "Lausanne" then Highway 9 towards "Grand St. Bernard". After you pass over "Montreux" take the Highway 9 Exit 18 to “St-Triphon, Pas-de-Morgins, Monthey-Nord”. After exiting Highway 9 Turn Right towards “Pas-de-Morgins, Monthey”.
After crossing over the river take the 3rd exit at the round-about towards “Portes du Soleil”. Continue straight ahead at the next two round-abouts. Go through the tunnel then begin the climb up the valley towards “Morgins”.
After approx 3km turn left off the main road towards “Champery, Champoussin, Les Crosets”. Follow the winding road up through "Troistorrents" for approx 4km to "Val-D’illiez". At the round-about take the exit ahead and to the right which leads up to “Les Crosets, Champoussin”. Follow the winding road for approximately 10km up to "Les Crosets".
Once you enter "Les Crosets" continue driving past the little chapel on your left. As you approach some shops on your left take the first Right up the hill. 150m later take the road Left and continue another 150m until you see "Les Rhodos" Chalet. Apartment No.7 is on the top floor on your left.

The Swiss - French Alps in summer, terrific hiking and biking/downhill trails, a wide net of lifts up many summits, Swiss friendliness and cleanliness .... Les Crosets is a wonderful place to spend truly relaxing holidays. The apartment at Les Rhodos 7 is very comfortable, cosy and perfectly furnished for couples or families. Friendly and helpful manager. No whishes remained open. The wireless internet connection was very welcomed by our teenage sons. |

This 3-rd floor ski-apartment is in a great location near lifts and slopes; ski-in and out possible, with good access to Portes-de-Soleil area. It is quiet, and provides great views. It provides pretty much all regular living amenities in house. The balcony is enjoying sun for most of the day. Parking and ski storage are ample. There is no elevator available. |
