Well equipped and self catered traditional rustic chalet. Set over three levels, on the ground is the living room with heated stone flooring,and a beautiful Savoyarde fire-place.There is antique furniture to add to the rustic feel of the chalet. In the living area are two large sofas and a separate reading/game area. There is a TV,a DVD and a CD player.
The kitchen is slightly elevated and the walls are decorated with the original carpenter utensils. The dining area is in the kitchen with 8 seats. The kitchen is fully equipped - with a fondue and raclette. Three steps up are two bedrooms and one bathroom. Four further steps up is the master bedroom with bathroom and separate WC.
There is a large garden and deck outside to enjoy the fantastic views on the Mont Blanc massif.. There is also a BBQ, and the garage contains a washer/dryer. The garage can accommodate 1 car and another can be parked outside. Logs, linen & towels supplied.

- Summer Contamines is a very lively place in summer. A lot of climbers and hikers use it as a departing place for climbing Mont Blanc. Part of the lifts run during the summer so you can make excellent hikes. There is an activity park for kids and recently a natural swimming pond was opened.
Megeve, 20 minutes by car, has several music festivals during the summer, and a good selection of restaurants and shops.
How to get there
- Fly to Geneva airport - 1 hour drive. - Mainly motorway A4, with very easy access through St.Gervais. - Road to chalet is not steep and is cleared of snow every day.
