Chalet Champelet is a brand new luxury ski chalet located about 10 minutes walk from the centre of Les Contamines and a couple of minute's drive from the ski lifts. Garden, terrace, garage and great mountain views!
The chalet is built to a very high specification, matched by the sophistication of the interior design and it's position looking down over the valley make this the most perfect of chalets whatever the time of year. Accessed from the road via a small bridge and a short 50m climb up to the private garage you then climb up steps to reach the chalet's wonderful elevated position earning it's views across the valley over to the mountain skyline.

Les Contamines is in the Mount Blanc region of the French Alps. The surrounding area is famous for the great skiing in winter and in summer the climbing, cycling and walking. The town has an excellent snow record in the winter and in the summer and autumn it is warm and sunny.
Les Contamines-Montjoie area
Les Contamines is a lovely, family village with a good range of shops, bars and restaurants. Due to it's location near Mt Blanc Les Contamines has an excellent snow record in the winter and is considered a 'snow sure' resort . Les Contamines has 120km of downhill pistes and 23km of cross country skiing. It is also part of the Evasion ski area which offers over 500km of pistes.
Other winter activities include ice climbing, paragliding, dog sledding, snow shoeing, sledging and outdoor ice rink. In summer in addition to the 120km of signposted walks suitable for all abilities, Les Contamines has a boating lake, swimming lake, tennis courts, mini golf, archery, tree top adventure area, large rock climbing area, husky farm and a golfing range. For those who would like to relax St Gervais' famous thermal parc is only 15 minutes away and offers therapies and massage.
How to get there

We can recommend transfer companies for transfers from Geneva airport. Alternatively, you can hire a car through a number of different car hire companies. We recommend that you hire a car from the Swiss side of Geneva airport. This is the easiest and quickest way out of the airport.
The area is about 800km from Calais by car. There are autoroutes covering the entire length of the journey and it takes roughly 8 hours.
It is possible to travel by train. The closest station is at Le Fayet/St Gervais which connects with SNCF services to Chamonix.

Further details indoors: The two luxurious double bedrooms have en suite bath rooms and toilets. One twin bedroom has an en-suite shower room with its own toilet. The other twin bedroom shares a shower room and toilet with the final bedroom which has a single bed with pull out bed underneath.
The chalet has a handy storage area/drying room which leads through to the laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
The large open plan living space, with it's wooden ceiling and beams and wrap around windows that open out onto a large balcony look out over the valley up to the mountains comprises a dining area, kitchen and lounge. This floor is also home to a WC and another storage area.
Further details outdoors: Outside there's a large private garden with wrap around decking and a large decked patio area with table and chairs. The views are perfect and the whole area benefits from not being overlooked at all. The chalet has its own garage, with space for one car within and space outside for another car to be parked in front. Further parking is available lower down the private drive, handy when the snow is down. Snow chains are a must!
Conditions
A refundable damage/cleaning deposit of 1000 Euros will be required in the form of cash or credit card details.
A deposit of 25% of the total price is required when booking. Payment of the remaining balance is due 8 weeks before arrival.
Payment can be made by credit or debit card (3% surcharge levied on credit cards).
