Chalet Feiler is a luxurious boutique chalet, sleeping up to 10 guests. It offers a genuine home from home experience, decorated with an eclectic mix of art and antiques and completely wired for sound and vision.

While you're not out enjoying the local area, be entertained at Chalet Feiler. There are toys and games for all ages, a huge range of DVDs, the latest games consoles (PS3, Wii), Sky HD, WiFi connection, table football... the list is endless.

And for those moments when all you want is a bit of peace and quiet there's the spa, complete with sauna, fitness machine and outdoor hot tub. After a hard day on the slopes, you can watch the sun go down in outdoor Jacuzzi, or enjoy a relaxing sauna in the chalet’s mini spa. Stretch out tired muscles with an in-chalet beauty treatments.

The open plan living area upstairs is the focal point in Chalet Feiler and is where you will undoubtedly spend countless hours chatting in front of the fire and enjoying the incredible views.

The feeling of space is created by the double height ceiling and panoramic windows leading onto the large south-east facing balcony with fantastic views out into the valley. The space is cleverly divided into areas for eating and relaxing with a cosy double sided fireplace, games area and cinema room boasting a 37inch flat screen with a choice of Satellite TV, Playstation III or Wii.

The entire middle floor of Chalet Feiler is dedicated to the sleeping quarters and comprises three double bedrooms (two bedrooms can also be twin), and the fabulous bunk room, perfect for children and adults alike, bringing the sleeping capacity of the chalet up to 10 guests in total. Each bedroom has mountain views and is luxuriously appointed with an ipod dock and en suite bath or shower room. Three of the rooms have access to a large outdoor terrace for further lounging. There are two cots, two high chairs, a baby monitor and local babysitting can be arranged via the housekeeper.

TERMS:

Rates are based on 10 people staying on a self-catering basis. Bookings are Sunday 4pm to the following Sunday 10am. A deposit of 25% is payable within 3 days of booking to confirm and the balance eight weeks before arrival. Refundable breakages deposit of 600 CHF is required.

The Swiss Alps / Valais/Swiss Alps region

Les Collons is part of Switzerland's Four Valleys - Verbier, the country's largest ski and mountain biking region. Not only is it a fantastic place to take an active holiday, but it also gets the same amount of sunshine as the Cote D'Azur in France - as much as 300 days a year.

The Rhone valley itself is Switzerland's largest wine-producing area, so there is ample opportunity to sample some excellent local wines when here. In addition, the town of Sion is one of Switzerland's oldest settlements, and now boasts not only some fantastic architecture and ancient monuments but also a vibrant and lively night life, and a modern selection of shops and amenities.

The Les Collons / Thyon area

WINTER
In the winter season, the ski-ing area of the four valleys encompass Verbier, Veysonnaz, Nendaz and Thyon-Les Collons and they are on your doorstep. Take a 3 minute ski bus from just outside the chalet to the lifts at Les Collons and enjoy everything the area has to offer with over 220 kilometres of slopes and top rated snow parks. We have a warm technical room to leave your outdoor clothes, ski's and snowboards.

SUMMER
As well as being a skier's paradise during the winter months, the mountains are incredibly beautiful in the other seasons and there is plenty to do. Activities such as mountain-biking, hiking, rafting, paragliding, horse riding, golf and many others are available on your doorstep. There are organised tours and walks from the nearby Tourist Office leaving most days as well as local festivals and concerts. The weather throughout June to late September is invariably hot and sunny, and you can enjoy sunbathing in the garden and the large south-facing balconies.

Chalet Feiler is a beautiful ski retreat on the edge of the village of Les Collons, which is part of the Verbier ski area. Situated at 1700metres, Les Collons is one of the highest villages in Europe. It has the luxury of snow for over 20 weeks a year and in the summer enjoys a warm Mediterranean alpine climate.

Chalet Feiler is just under an hour and a half drive from Geneva International Airport and 20 minutes from Sion Airport. Car hire or train from Geneva is straightforward.

We arrived home yesterday from an amazing time in Switzerland. Many thanks to you for sharing your beautiful chalet. It could not have been more perfect for us. The location, the spacious accommodations with such attention to every detail of the chalet, and glorious weather. This was a special celebration for us as we were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. We arrived a week earlier than our family. All six of us were entranced with the beauty of the chalet and the surrounding area. We quickly learned the winding roads up and down the mountain and enjoyed going out everyday to a new adventure. We explored many areas nearby and also drove into Italy.

There are so many interesting and fun places to visit within easy driving from the chalet. We learned early that we did our sightseeing early and returned to the chalet early evening to enjoy the many pleasures afforded us there. We enjoyed the sauna in doors, the hot tub outdoors both in the early afternoon when we could enjoy the snow capped mountains, and the later evenings when we enjoyed the view of the stars and amazing sounds. We are ranchers and felt very much at home with the sounds of Swiss cows bells and the braying of the donkeys nearby.

We were delighted that we choose your chalet over others that we considered because we enjoyed the more secluded area over the more populated other areas. Many thanks for an amazing holiday for our family. We have memories we will cherish and great pictures to remind us of this special time. We hope to return in the future.

“Our whole family were visiting Switzerland for the first time and we couldn’t have chosen a more relaxing and homely place than Chalet Feiler. The chalet was out of this world which let in the morning sunshine from the clear glass windows and doors – allowing for an awesome view of the mountains whichever way we looked. The facilities were more than we bargained for. Everything we needed from microwaves and constant hot water to satellite TV and iPod stations to play music. Add to this the bonus luxuries of a sauna and a hot tub located on the deck where you could relax and see the sun set, resulted in nothing less than picturesque. We enjoyed the balcony facilities which included a BBQ and being tucked into the mountains, the chalet made for a secluded, quiet and relaxing holiday.

I would rate Chalet Feiler as 5 star accommodation but at a price that is reasonable – considering the expense of Switzerland itself. The owners were helpful right up to our bookng and I would recommend booking – you will not regret it and will come away with memorable, breathtaking views.”

New Year week is available for 7 or 10 days (10 days price is £4500). A deposit of 25% is payable within 3 days of booking to confirm and the balance eight weeks before arrival. CATERING: A high class chalet board catered option is available at an additional cost. Please enquire.

CANCELLATION: In the event of a cancellation, every effort will be made to re-let, but if this is not possible the management reserves the right to retain the deposit and to recover the balance due.

CLEANING / LINEN: Guests are responsible for keeping and leaving the property in a clean and tidy condition. The prices do not include a surcharge for cleaning (300Sfr) and linen (20Sfr/person) . For guests staying more than one week, a mid stay laundry change is also possible at an additional charge. Please inform us upon booking.
