The Swiss Alps / Valais/Swiss Alps region
Les Collons is part of Switzerland's Four Valleys - Verbier, the country's largest ski and mountain biking region. Not only is it a fantastic place to take an active holiday, but it also gets the same amount of sunshine as the Cote D'Azur in France - as much as 300 days a year.
The Rhone valley itself is Switzerland's largest wine-producing area, so there is ample opportunity to sample some excellent local wines when here. In addition, the town of Sion is one of Switzerland's oldest settlements, and now boasts not only some fantastic architecture and ancient monuments but also a vibrant and lively night life, and a modern selection of shops and amenities.
Les Collons / Thyon area
WINTER In the winter season, the ski-ing area of the four valleys encompass Verbier, Veysonnaz, Nendaz and Thyon-Les Collons and they are on your doorstep. Take a 3 minute ski bus from just outside the chalet to the lifts at Les Collons and enjoy everything the area has to offer with over 220 kilometres of slopes and top rated snow parks. We have a warm technical room to leave your outdoor clothes, ski's and snowboards.
SUMMER As well as being a skier's paradise during the winter months, the mountains are incredibly beautiful in the other seasons and there is plenty to do. Activities such as mountain-biking, hiking, rafting, paragliding, horse riding, golf and many others are available on your doorstep. There are organised tours and walks from the nearby Tourist Office leaving most days as well as local festivals and concerts. The weather throughout June to late September is invariably hot and sunny, and you can enjoy sunbathing in the garden and the large south-facing balconies.
How to get there
The Bestique Chalet is a beautiful ski retreat on the edge of the village of Les Collons, which is part of the Verbier ski area. Situated at 1700metres, Les Collons is one of the highest villages in Europe. It has the luxury of snow for over 20 weeks a year and in the summer enjoys a warm Mediterranean alpine climate.
The Bestique Chalet is just under an hour and a half drive from Geneva International Airport and 20 minutes from Sion Airport. Car hire or train from Geneva is straightforward.

Further details indoors: The open plan living area upstairs is the focal point in Chalet Feiler and is where you will undoubtedly spend countless hours chatting in front of the fire and enjoying the incredible views.
The feeling of space is created by the double height ceiling and panoramic windows leading onto the large south-east facing balcony with fantastic views out into the valley. The space is cleverly divided into areas for eating and relaxing with a cosy double sided fireplace, games area and cinema room boasting a 37inch flat screen with a choice of Satellite TV, Playstation III or Wii.
The entire middle floor of Chalet Feiler is dedicated to the sleeping quarters and comprises three double bedrooms (two bedrooms can also be twin), and the fabulous bunk room, perfect for children and adults alike, bringing the sleeping capacity of the chalet up to 10 guests in total. Each bedroom has mountain views and is luxuriously appointed with an ipod dock and en suite bath or shower room. Three of the rooms have access to a large outdoor terrace for further lounging. There are two cots, two high chairs, a baby monitor and local babysitting can be arranged via the housekeeper.

Rates are based on 10 people staying on a self-catering basis. Bookings are Saturday 4pm to the following Saturday 10am. A deposit of 25% is payable within 3 days of booking to confirm and the balance eight weeks before arrival. Refundable breakages deposit of 600 CHF is required.

CANCELLATION: In the event of a cancellation, every effort will be made to re-let, but if this is not possible the management reserves the right to retain the deposit and to recover the balance due.
CLEANING / LINEN: Guests are responsible for keeping and leaving the property in a clean and tidy condition. The mandatory exit clean is CHF300 on top of the rental price. Linen and towel hire is CHF 38 / person. For guests staying more than one week, a mid stay laundry change is also possible at an additional charge of CHF38 / person. Please inform us upon booking.
