This comfortable and luxurious chalet has classic design and every amenity. The chalet is very spacious and it spreads the charm of a cosy classic mountain chalet.
The master bedroom on the top floor offers a spacious en-suite bathroom with a Jacuzzi bathtub and a shower. The Mezzanine floor is equipped a comfortable double sofa and also offers TV, DVD and Bluewin. Great view of the Bernese and Valaisan Alps overlooking the Matterhorn and Dent Blanche. Distance to the Trabanta chairlift of Les Collons is 10 minutes by foot and the ski bust stop is ~300 m.
The chalet is situated just below the resort center of Les Collons 1800, five minutes on foot, featuring a small supermarket, post office, bank, ski rental and ski shop, bars and restaurants; The Ski school, more shops and restaurants are situated in Les Collons 1850. Indoor swimming pool and kindergarden (from 18 month on) in Thyon 2000, ~6km. Fire wood can be delivered on request. Wireless internet access is included for the rental.

The Swiss Alps / Valais/Swiss Alps region
The Four Valleys is the largest ski area in Switzerland and includes eight Swiss resorts with a combined total of 412 km of downhill skiing, with 151 individual pistes, served by 92 ski lifts.
The Four Valleys Lift Pass allows you to ski or snowboard in any of the ski resorts of Thyon, Veyzonas, Nendaz, and Verbier. You will have a hard time finding a better place to enjoy winter sports than the 4 Valleys, having great snow from November to April it is a skiers and boarders dream.
The Les Collons / Thyon area
The Val d’Hérens is located in the heart of the Swiss Alps on the Eastern side of the four valleys system one of the largest ski regions in Europe. The area has over 400 kms of pistes and 100 ski lifts that seamlessly link - Thyon, Veysonnaz, Nedaz and Verbier.
There really is something for everyone, Thyon 2000 has wide open sunny slopes for beginners and more challenging slopes for the intermediate and advanced, including large areas of off piste the Billabong board park with nursery slopes for the little ones.
Thyon is one of the least know resorts in the 4 valleys, but not to say it’s not one of the best. Benefiting from the same lift system and similar altitudes, the Thyon region offers better value for money and is less crowded than it’s better know neighbor Verbier. If you are looking for a true taste of traditional Switzerland this is the area to visit just relax and enjoy the fabulous views over the untouched alpine paradise.
With Evolene and Crans-Montana just a short drive away and the medieval city of Sion at the foot of the mountain everything is within close striking distance. Sion with its monastery and castle has a cosmopolitan feel with world-class restaurants and designer shopping.

Very nice cosy chalet in the Thyon skiing area ( http://www.thyon.ch/home-2/resort/discover-thyon/thyon-2000?lang=en ). Very nice slopes for all skiers, from beginners to experts. The chalet has a fine sauna and you can cool down in the snow or in the shower. Also there is a very nice hotpot which is heated with firewood. In it you can enjoy the scenery and the stars above in a nice relaxing pool with friends and familie. Also a very nice retreat over the summertime, hiking all over the mountain, enjoying the local wines and food. |
