Lake Annecy;and Chambery, with its magnificent chateau of the Dukes of Savoie;and Albertville with its fascinating medieval town are all great days out ;by train or car.You can (in summer only) also get over the Petit St Bernard pass to Aosta and onto Cormayeur(Italy).
