The apartment is in a prime position within Les Angles and has a balcony offering fantastic views and directly over looking the beginner’s piste. It could not be better placed for access to the slopes, shops and all amenities. You can’t get much closer to Ski-in Ski-out with access to the beginners slope being an easy flat walk of some 40 metres and the telecabine some 100 metres from the front of the apartment block.
The apartment built in 2007 is modern, spacious, light and airy consisting of 3 bedrooms sleeping up to 6 people (1 double, 2 bunk beds) and has a spacious well equipped living /Kitchen area. There is a bathroom with shower over, a shower room and 2 separate WCs. There is underground private parking.

The Languedoc-Roussillon / Pyrenees-Orientales region
Les Angles is a popular mountain resort catering for both winter and summer holidays. It is situated high in the eastern Pyrenees close to the Spanish and Andorran boarders. The resort is set amid lakes and forests at 1,600m above sea level. Les Angles is a top ski, walking and adventure destination and continues to be highly popular for both the French and Spanish and it is now a destination which the English are rapidly becoming more aware of.
There is much to do in the region from visiting the charming and intriguing walled medieval town of Villefranche-de- Conflent (on route to Perpignan) and nearby to this the magnificent caves of Grottes-de-Canalettes. Alternatively Andorra some 80Km away provides a great opportunity for some tax free shopping therapy and/or a relaxing visit to Caldea Spa (check it out - www.caldea.com) for a real treat.
Les Angles, Pyrenees-Orientales area
Les Angles is a pleasant and atmospheric village with fantastic facilities and amenities well suited to families. It is still very much a village but as well as the expected shops, restaurants and bars it also boasts a swimming pool, ice skating rink, 10 pin bowling, tennis courts, cinema and night club. In addition there is a tourist information office, providing much material on all the local summer and winter activities of which there are absolutely loads to keep you occupied.
From fantastic summer and winter walking through pine forests and along spectacular mountain trails to packing your holiday with summer and winter sporting activities Les Angles offers it all.
In the summer the lake offers non-powered water sports activities from canoes to sailing dinghies to pedalos to windsurfing. You will also find bike hire, quad bike hire, horse riding, crazy golf and adventure climbing (a bit like a small Go-Ape in England) right next to the lake or you could visit the nearby animal park. Alternatively opt for a stroll around or a laze by the lakeside in the sun or the shade of the forest. For the energetic there are numerous mountain walks or you could hire a mountain bike and explore the mapped out bike routes from beginner to expert. Of course you could just enjoy a beer or coffee at one of the lakeside or village cafes, chill, people watch and soak up the atmosphere.
In the winter, skiing, boarding, cross country skiing, snow-shoeing, or just walking and experiencing the fantastic scenery of the snow capped mountains, snow covered trees, the frozen lake or taking a husky sleigh ride through the forest is all available.
The resort is at 1600 to 2400 metres and the skiing season is from December to April. There is some forty kilometres of piste with exceedingly good novice and intermediate runs serviced by a fantastic modern lift system and an extensive snow cannon network virtually guaranteeing snow all season. If you are new to skiing / boarding Les Angles is a fantastic place to start with lessons for all levels being well catered for. For the younger there are two snow gardens and crèche facilities from age three months to three years. For Boarders, there is also a permanent snow park with tables, big-air, handrails, boxes, hips, a half-pipe and two quarter pipes.
If you are a total ski / board junky and think you have out skied/ boarded Les Angles then don’t worry a big advantage of Les Angles is that there are another 5 resorts offering loads more for you to explore all within 25 minutes or so drive. Formigueres (6Km), Puyvalador (11Km), Pyrenees 2000 (15Km), Font Romeu (18Km) and Espace Cambre d'aze (20Km).

The apartment is arranged such that a door from the living area leads to the double bedroom, Shower room and separate WC giving this area extra privacy (own facilities / space). The other 2 bunk bedrooms are next to the Bathroom with shower and separate WC.
Further details outdoors: Integrated within the apartment block is the Chalet Du Ski with friendly English speaking staff offering a great range of skis and boards for hire. No need to catch a ski bus, the beginner’s piste is only 30 seconds easy walk away and the Telecabine accessing all runs is a minute walk away.
A real advantage is that the apartment balcony overlooks the beginner’s piste which for those with Children allows you to keep an eye on them when you need to get your boots off but they are still going strong. There are two snow gardens for children and crèche facilities from age three months to three years.

In the majority of cases an English representative resident in Les Angles will meet you on arrival, show you the apartment, explain the layout and setup and make sure you are settled in.
STRICTLY NO SMOKING Sorry but smoking impregnates bedding, curtains and furnishings and it is not reasonable to expect non-smokers paying for a smoke free environment to experience smoke residue. The return of your security deposit is dependant upon this. If you smoke DO NOT book this apartment.
Conditions
Strictly No Smoking / No Pets A 25% non-refundable deposit is required at the point of booking. The balance of the payment to be made no later than 8 weeks prior to arrival. There is a refundable 150 Euro security deposit payable on arrival. There is a non-refundable 50 Euro cleaning fee payable on arrival. The apartment will be available from 16:00hrs on your day of arrival. The apartment must be vacated by 10:00hrs on your day of departure.
