Lerici

Places of interest in the surroundings of the apartment are:

Lerici, with its splendid sea and beaches, its castle and its several famous localities as San Terenzio, Fiascherino or Tellaro.

The impressing natural parcs of Monte Marcello and Monti di San Lorenzo with spectacular views over the Bay of the poets and the characteristic Italian villages.

The Cinque Terre (“Five villages”), one of the most famous and spectacular, but at the same time one of the most untouched parts of the Italian coast, five small towns castled up on stone spurs in minuscule creeks. The vineyards, typical of this area, have contributed to create a unique landscape with dry-laid stone walls, winding paths, enchanting beaches between cliffs and clear waters. The Cinque Terre offer beautiful footpaths with take breathing view, churches, oratories and old castles, diving, food and wines of first quality. The Cinque Terre are National Park and UNESCO protected territory since 1997.

La Spezia, main city of the region and important military harbour, with a well-known Museum of the Navy.

Sarzana, a busy small city, rich of history, of cultural events and gastronomical activities.

The coast of the Versilia, famous for its splendid sandy beaches and its night life.

The region of Lunigiana with hundreds of hills and villages to discover.

Finally The Apuan Alps with several marble mines close to the city of Carrara and easy to reach. Visit here the small village of miners Colonnata, with its impressive marble walls and famous for the local bacon "lardo"!
