Our very popular and beautifully decorated cottage is situated in the garden of our home – a Grade 2 Listed Black & White property.
We have become the only cottage in Herefordshire to have been awarded the Quality at Heart (West Midland Regional Tourist Board) Silver Servicemark – as recognition for the outstanding service levels you will receive.
Our cottage is rated 4 Star by the English Tourist Board and it overlooks the garden and fields is on the edge of a quiet hamlet. This area has some wonderful walks straight from the door - over farmland and through the woods nearby. The area is a haven for birds and wildlife.
A short drive away are the famous Black and White villages, several National Trust Properties, Hay-on-Wye - famous for its book shops and the Hay Festival, Ludlow, local cider producers, Golf courses and the Cathedral city of Hereford with its Mappa Mundi Exhibition.
Famous for its Antiques shops - the market town of Leominster is just 1½ miles away with plenty of shops, pubs, restaurants, banks, etc.
There are some excellent pubs and restaurants in the surrounding districts, including those at Ludlow – an established 'foodie' haven - just 15 minutes away. The Stagg Inn at Titley was the first UK Michelin starred pub serving food - wonderful, local produce at its best.
The Cottage has an enclosed garden with patio area, teak tables and chairs, patio heater and a barbecue for use on those lovely summer evenings.
Pets are very welcome and we make no additional charge for bringing your pets.
For those of you with a baby or toddler we can supply a comprehensive Baby Pack - free of charge - which will help when loading up the car! Things included are travel cot, changing mat, age related toys and books, rocking horse, high chair, baby monitors, stairgates, etc.
The Cottage sleeps 2 people in a double bed with an additional sofa bed in the lounge, if required.
Fresh, crisp, Egyptian cotton bedlinen from The White Company is provided together with Egyptian cotton bath sheets and hand towels.
The Cottage is very well equipped with all the additional extras that make it a home from home including free Wi-Fi internet connection.
The cottage is centrally heated and double glazed. The facilities include:

Our lovely cottage is situated at the edge of a rural hamlet - overlooking gardens and fields - full of wonderful wildlife.
We are 1.5 miles from the market town of Leominster which is famous for its antique shops - which are regularly featured on the TV antique hunt style programmes.
Nearby we have woodland, rivers and therefore lovely wildlife. The cottage garden is regularly visited by nuthatches, woodpeckers, squirrels, finches - to name a few!
National Trust properties include Berrington Hall, Croft Castle, Brockhampton Estate and The Weir Gardens. Also closeby is the stunning Hampton Court Castle with its beautiful gardens and tranquil landscape.
Queenswood Country Park is nearby with lovely, tracked and public footpath walks which lead to a stunning viewpoint. There is also a National Trust shop and lovely cafe at the Park.
Hereford Cathedral is the home to the The Mappa Mundi - a unique part of Britain's heritage. The map is an outstanding treasure of the medieval world, it records how thirteenth-century scholars interpreted the world in spiritual as well as geographical terms. The historic Chained Library is also housed at Hereford Cathedral.
