Home description
Our beautiful 2 bedroom apartment Sonnrain offers flexible accommodation for 2 to 6 persons. It is located in a very sunny position in the village centre. Close at hand is a supermarket, post office ,various local shops and restaurants. The apartment has 2 bedrooms with en- suite bathrooms, a large living kitchen, well equipped for 6 persons. There is also a large south facing balcony affording superb mountain views. Leogang village forms part of the "Ski Circus" , a vast linked ski area with the villages of Saalbach and Hinterglemm.In Summer it is the home of "Bike park " , a famous mecca for serious mountain bikers. The more gentle cycle path runs directly outside the house. Within 100 meters of the house is a large open air swimming pool , leisure centre and tennis courts.

Leogang is located in the Salzburgerland region of Austria, and more specifically in Pinzgau. Roughly 1 hour by car from Salzburg it is a quiet village away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Due to the formation of the valley over thousands of years, it is said that Leogang enjoys both good sunshine and a good snow record.
The development of the village has primarily been focussed on family holidays. It is not a nightclubbers dream, what is on offer is good value family centred entertainment. There are many good eating houses with typical Austrian charm and hospitality. In winter there are 5 nights of activities available in the village, twice weekly toboggoning on floodlit slopes. evening skiing on the nursery slopes and a multimedia show once a week.In the summer season there is a special children's animateur organising a full range of summer fun activities .Sport is an important part of the village life, cycling,walking,golf,swimming,climbing are just a few of the sports to be enjoyed.
Leogang area
Leogang typically celebrates the seasons .Spring and harvest festivels are a focus point of the village. A new project has turned the Asitz mountain peak into an out door summer theatre with dramatic productions and music evenings. Nearby in Saalfelden there is an annual three day Jazz festivel , now in its 27th year it is one of the most significant festivels of its kind, gathering musicians of top quality from around the world.
In winter Leogang hosts biathalon competitions, every 2 years there are the Nostalgic Ski Championships,and this year the village hosted a FIS grand Slalom race featuring some the worlds best ski champions. In 2008 Leogang has been nominated as a team camp for the Euro 2008 football championships, a testament to the good facitilites for sport that the village offers.

Further details indoors: Our apartment is located in a large house with other apartments. There is a ski and boot room with heated boot drier .A drying room for wet clothes is also available. In the basement of the house is a large room used for socialising and meeting with friends. For children there is a table tennis , SateliteTV with European, Asian and Arabic channels, table football ( with payment ), and for small children a speacialised Kids play area with slide and plenty of toys. A sauna , solarium and Jacuzzi are also available ( charges sometimes applicable / times or opening vary ) The apartment benefits from a large balcony with outdoor chairs. Garden BBQ and outdoor furniture. Car parking.
Further details outdoors: The house is surrounded by a garden where there are outdoor tables for eating and entertaining in summer. The BBQ is available for all the house guests to use. There is car parking for 9 cars. Just across the road from the house is a children's play park with timbber climbing frame, swing slide in a safe and secure environment. No Traffic. Bicycles are available to rent in the village. The heated outdoor swimming pool and leisure centre with tennis courts is 200 mtrs from the house.

Our house is NO SMOKING THROUGHOUT. We ask our guests to smoke only on the balcony . Thank You. Pets are considered by prior arrangement and at an additional cost. Bedding and towels are provided on arrival, Extra towels are available at additional cost of € 2.00 each. Bathrobes available for rental. A kitchen tea towel is provided. We ask guests to provide their own soaps, shower and bath gell etc shampoo and toilet rolls.
Conditions
In winter changover day is usually on Saturday and for 7 Nights, although if it is possible to be a little flexible we will be. In summer and off season it is possible to arrive on any day, and shorter duration bookings are usually accepted. We reserve the right to ask for a security deposit of £150. To secure a booking a deposit of £150 is required, with the balance of payment before arrival date.
