A newly refurbished modern apartment situated in a semi-detached house, offering an amazing lake-view of the Lake's only Island, Comacina and also benefits from a comunal outdoor swimming pool & private garage.

The property offers a modern, fully-fitted kitchen with a spacious and sunny Open Plan Living/Dining area. There is a balcony leading off from the living room offering a perfect spot for relaxation and dining whilst taking in the stunning lake views.

From the house you can walk to the beautiful beach in front of the island of Comacina which you can get to by private boat just in five minutes and enjoy a very special dinner there at the infamous The Locanda restaurant.

The property 30 minutes from Como by car, and 20 minutes from Menaggio and Bellagio. It is also an ideal starting point for walks up into the mountains or for visiting the historical sites in and around the village.

The Lenno area

Ossuccio enjoys a sunny aspect on the west side of the lake and is ideally situated to visit all parts of the lake. The lake side garden here, in the heart of the village is just 10 minutes walk and is popular for sunbathing, enjoying a drink, sunbathing or taking a dip in the lake! Restaurants, bars and a bank can all be found in the village.

Lenno (Villa Balbianello-James Bond) with the water ferry accessing all parts of the lake is just 3 mins drive with supermarket.Villa Carlotta (Tremezzo) with it's majestic gardens is just a short drive and Bellagio is only a water taxi or ferry ride away!

Como city and Switzerland are just 1/2 an hour away and another 30 mins will take you to Milan or Monza for the Formula1 Grand Prix! The area represents an idyllic location to indulge in a little dolce vita, cafe culture, boating, shopping, eating, relaxing and eating some more. The local market stops here in Ossuccio every week for all your fresh produce, the restaurants serve the freshest, regional cusine and the geletaria's here are justifiably proud of their world renowned home made ice cream! If your batteries are in need of recharging and you are looking for a slower pace of life for a week or two Lake Como ticks all the right boxes.

Lake side walks, 22 miles of lake to explore by ferry, water taxi or boat hire, a golden man-made beach just 5 minutes drive from Ossuccio and trattorias and restaurants passionate about food and quality wine makes your holiday complete. We had a great week in L'Isola, the property was very nice, clean and had everything we needed.
We enjoyed: Walking along the Greenway to Lenno to take the ferry to Bellagio, Varenna and Menaggio. Hiring a boat for a couple of hours to explore the lake, and stopping for a swim in the lake.

We had a beautiful relaxing stay on Lake Como. Thank you for the welcome bottle of Prosecco & the cute tea-towel.
L’Isola was a lovely property, so clean and modern, with absolutely the BEST EVER garage! We had been upgraded by the car hire company to an enormous BMW sedan which was the same width as most of the roads around Lake Como & way too difficult to park in every parking garage in Europe. Except for this one, which had a wide entrance, was well lit, with extra wide & extra long garage space. The key safe arrangement worked fantastically, a great arrangement, thank you. We also loved having the 2 fans in the bedrooms, as it was hot during our stay & everyone was very comfortable at night. The view of the lake was gorgeous, particularly at night when the lights sparkle from the other side of the lake. Beds were so comfortable, everyone wanted to stay in bed all day. All in all, a very relaxing and enjoyable break.
We would certainly recommend others to use your website if wanting a similar holiday experience – actually our friends who stayed at Sala Comacina recommended your web site to us!
