The Lombardy / Lake Como Area
The Lombardy has a wealth of history, steeped in culture and famed for its cusine. Lake Como has bee loved as holiday destination by lots of travellers, thanks to the beauty of its landscapes, its charming villas looking onto the lake and its typical ancient villages. The climate is perfect for water based activities as well as winter sports snowboarding and skiing. and therefore makes Lake Como an ideal location for both summer and winter holidays. The area contains the homes of many celebrities and wealthy Milanese have second homes dotted along the shoreline
Lenno area
The town of Lenno is approximately 18 kilometres north of Como Town and is famed within the area for its Lido (100 metres) away with its exclusive beach one of a handful that has sand. The Lido is a popular place in the day for beach lovers, and equally as popular in the evening when it is transformed at sunset into a plush bar ideal for aperitif and then into the evening for restaurant food and lastly open air disco. Lenno is the home of Villa Balbianello which has played backdrop to numerous films including Casino Royale, Oceans 12 and Star Wars

The apartment is in a residential area of Lake Como, and it is wonderful being part of the Italian community, and it's only a ten minute walk down to the lake. From the balcony you have fabulous views over the lake and the mountains. The apartment also has a garden you can use, and a dedicated parking space.
