The large living / dining room with sofa bed has an enclosed shared patio and also direct access to the waters edge via a set of stone steps which leads down to a boat slipway. Direct access to the lake with free garage parking.
Take advantage of staying in Lenno and visiting the infamous Villa del Balbianello, a film location for Casino Royale, the newest James Bond film. It was also used as a location in Star Wars Episode II in 2000. Lido di Lenno, the only man made sandy beach in Lake Como is nearby as well as an array of small bars and restaurants for lovers of Italian food and wine!

The Lombardy / Lake Como Area
Lake Como offers hidden treasures just waiting for the visitor to discover them: charming corners forgotten by time, lakeside villages where nothing seems to have changed for centuries. It is steeped in history with an immense collection of churches, architectural masterpieces and works of art covering the centuries. The lake is situated in a basin surrounded by wooded mountains, and offers an extremely varied landscape, with its' shores featuring a succession of pastures, and woods as well as harsh and impressive rock formations. All this alongside elegant, lakeside villas with sub-tropical gardens, which provide a haven of peace and tranquillity and chic resorts such as Bellagio, Menaggio and Como itself.
Lenno area
For exploring Lake Como the peaceful little town of Lenno is an excellent choice as, having its own ferry point, it makes getting around by boat an easy and pleasurable experience.
It is situated between the probably better known lakeside towns of Moltrasio and Tremezzo.
The town of Lenno surrounds the beautiful Bay of Venere, formed by the peninsula Lavedo. Every Tuesday, on the lovely lake side promenade, a market is held. On the far end of the peninsula Lavedo stands the Villa Balbianello, built in the 17th Century on the order of Cardinal Angelo Durini. The beautiful gardens are open to the public from 17th March - 4th November between 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. (Mon & Wed's are closed). About 200m from the landing stage at Lenno, close to the Lido di Lenno, there is a regular water taxi service to the villa. On on a Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday can the villa be reached on foot (1km from the boat landing stage). Highly recommended is a small circular walk to the Santuario della Madonna del Soccorso situated 400m at the beginning of the Val Perlano; an alley-way with 14 chapels leading to the church.

Cleaning Costs
There is a final cleaning cost of €90 when staying for one week & €120 when staying for two weeks with all bed-linen & towels included. If staying for two weeks or more – the bed-linen & towels will be refreshed after each week. All utility usage such as water, electricity & gas, are included in the rental price.
