About the home

La Luna Bridget is a newly built apartment (2012) set on two floors (first and attic) is fully centrally heated with modern fixtures and fittings. Located in small Residence it is within 10 minutes walking distance from the centre of Lenno and the Lake and is therefore close to shops, restaurants, bars, banks and supermarkets.

Lake Como has been loved as holiday destination by lots of travellers, thanks to the beauty of its landscapes, its charming villas looking onto the lake and its typical ancient villages. The climate is perfect for water based activities as well as winter sports snowboarding and skiing. and therefore makes Lake Como an ideal location for both summer and winter holidays.

The apartment is fully furnished with new, modern high quality fittings and gas central heating. The apartment has 3 rooms (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms a lounge/kitchen area) and sleeps 5 people (possibly 6). Entering the apartment at the first floor there is a small corridor of which on the right hand side there is a bathroom complete with wc, wash basin, bidet, shower and washing machine. At the end of the corridor is the lounge area containing a double sofa bed, coffee table, TV. The lounge has 3 large patio doors that opens onto a large terrace (20 sq m) equipped with outside dining table and chairs and has beautiful lake views as well as overlooking the swimming pool. The fully fitted kitchen area houses an oven, 4 hotplates, grill, microwave, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, dishwasher and dinning table and chairs.
From the lounge area there is an internal staircase that leads to the top floor where the bedrooms and main bathroom are located. Bedroom 1 has a large double bed and overlooks the pool to the front of the property whilst bedroom 2 contains a double bed (which can be split into two singles) and has a velux and window overlooking the rear of the property. Both bedrooms have wardrobes and chests of draws.

Outside the apartment exiting the triple patio door there is a terrace (20 sqm) and overlooks the pool. The apartment has 4 sun loungers, ideal for use around the pool of the Residence that is a distance of 5 m from the apartment.

The Lenno area

The town of Lenno is approximately 18 kilometres north of Como Town and is famed within the area for its Lido with its exclusive beach one of a handful that has sand. The Lido is a popular place in the day for beach lovers, and equally as popular in the evening when it is transformed at sunset into a plush bar ideal for aperitif and then into the evening for restaurant food and lastly open air disco. Every Tuesday there is a large market (food, clothes, crockery etc) which is located along the lake side and where locals flock to grab a bargain or shop for fresh food
Lenno is also the home of Villa Balbianello which has played backdrop to numerous films including Casino Royale, Oceans 12 and Star Wars

“Stunning ! Can't wait to return.” This was our second trip to Lenno to visit our son and after the excellent service by Mike and Gemma last year we used them again ! La luna Bridget was being built last year ,it certainly didn't dissappoint .It is spacious and has the benefit of 2 bathrooms ! The bedrooms are spacious and loads of character with the vaulted ceilings .The open plan living space is bright and airy only negative I can say is perhaps a little more seating for larger groups but there are always two chairs in the bedrooms .The pool was appreciated too in the gorgeous weather , and no words can describe the outstanding views from the terrace .We do not use a car but that isn't a problem as supermarkets and restuarants on the front are within walking distance , all that is left to say is we can't wait to return and would not hesitate to book La Luna Bridget again !
