About the home

Clach Mhor has extensive gardens in which to relax and enjoy the stunning sea view surrounding the house. Off the large modern living room is a balcony equipped with tables and chairs to enjoy that pre-dinner gin and tonic while watching the sunset over ailsa graig.
The house has a hot tub with quite possibly the best view of the sea ever- it is literally inches away. There is also an unheated plunge pool situated beside the sea.
The house is ideal for a large family or 2 families to enjoy the surrounding areas which are known as the Scottish Riveria for their mild climate.

This is a traditional holiday area in the UK and recently has been enjoying a revival due to the mild climate, excellent facilities, wonderful welcome and brilliant food.
There is lots to do for both children and adults from world class golf courses, to fishing, boat trips, theme parks, stately homes, gardens, shopping, markets and so on!
It is also home to the only dark skies park in the UK.
Thanks to the gulf stream it is consistently warmer and sunnier in this part of the Uk, as can be testified by the many palm trees growing everywhere.

“great for exploring great for the kids right on beach” wonderfull time had by all hot tub great just the job looking out to sea really relaxing, small beach rock pools to explore kids 8&5 loved to be right on beach great for sea /bird watching herrings curlew oyster catchers /seals right in front of you , even 3 deer on coastal track. dog friendly, would recommend visit to port patrick and bric thrift shop friendly welcome help at hand if needed thanks cathrine. will be back Hilary,Andrew &family

“My favourite holiday home ever, !!!” This place is beautiful. Has everything you need and sunsets that are out of this world. I can't wait to book up my next holiday here, its a little bit of heaven . Highly recommended. Being in the gulf stream weather is amazing .too.
