Located on Edinburgh's bustling Easter Road to the north east of the city centre, the apartment has lots of space, a large kitchen diner and beautiful period features. It is decorated to a high standard, with plenty of inspiration for travellers in the decor. Comfort and convenience are guaranteed!

The apartment is an ideal base for exploring Edinburgh and the surrounding area. All major city centre attractions are within easy reach with Princes Street, the Royal Mile, the Playhouse Theatre and key Festival venues such as the Pleasance only 5 minutes by bus or approximately 15 minutes on foot. The Michelin-starred restaurants and Royal Yacht Britannia in Leith are half an hour on foot or 10 minutes by bus.

After a long day exploring Edinburgh, relax in the large living room with its comfortable seating area, flat-screen TV (with DVD player and cable channels), stereo (with CD, DAB, FM, USB and iPod dock facilities), board games and free wifi. Then rustle up a meal in the large, well-equipped kitchen diner. The high-spec, new fitted kitchen has warm wood work surfaces and a breakfast bar and features all modern comforts like hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and various kitchen utensils and gadgets. The dining table seats four in a comfortable alcove.

And we are sure you will have a good night's sleep in the comfortable twin bedroom (beds can be easily pushed together to form a double) or on the double sofa bed in the lounge, providing sleeping arrangements for up to 4 people. Duvets, pillows, linen and towels are included in the rental and changed on a weekly basis.

The bathroom has a toilet, sink, bath and electric shower. There is central heating and double glazing throughout the apartment, ensuring a cosy stay in the heart of Scotland's capital.

NB. As this is a 1st floor apartment it may not be suitable for people with mobility problems.

Shopping & Dining:

A supermarket (open until 10pm) is just across the road and Easter Road has a great selection of convenient small shops ranging from wine merchants, bakery and patisserie, fruit and veg shops and gift shops.

For those who do not feel like cooking there are take-away shops and good quality restaurants nearby.

About this location

The Edinburgh region

From museums, galleries and theatres to clubs, pubs and cinema, from the zoo to Dynamic earth and beautiful parks, from Edinburgh Castle to Holyrood House and the Parliament, Edinburgh has something to offer for everyone. Be sure not to miss the Fringe festival in August or the world famous Hogmanay Street Party on new Years Eve!

And as for the weather: yes it rains. And snows. And we do have some sunshine too. And sometimes all of it in one day! But with as many indoor activities as outdoor activities, Edinburgh has something to offer no matter what the weather is like.

Edinburgh has a relatively mild climate, being on the East Coast of Scotland. It provides a great base for exploring the South of Scotland, but also allows you to get to the highlands within a few hours drive.

Edinburgh has lots to offer for young and old. The Edinburgh International Festival, Edinburgh Festival Fringe and Book Festival draw crowds in August, and the Edinburgh Military Tattoo is sure not to disappoint.

But August is not the only time of year to visit our city. December offers the Capital Christmas Festival and the World Famous Edinburgh Hogmanay Celebrations. Rugby fans can enjoy the Heineken Rugby Final or the 6 Nations cup at various times of year, and other sporting events include the Bupa Great Edinburgh Run, The Moon Walk, Edinburgh Marathon and much more.

The Film Festival in June brings in the rich and famous and not to miss for a bit of star spotting and good films from all over the world.

But there is much more. Whether you wish to trace your ancestors, visit the castle, explore the dark underground world by taking an exciting ghost tour or shop till you drop, you will find it in Edinburgh. And with excellent restaurants and bars and a great farmers market Edinburgh firmly established its self on the culinary map of Britain. A real foodie heaven!

"Very charming, warm, with lots of light. Nice personnal touches."

Close to the center.
Safe neighbourghood, with nice restaurant opposite the appartment.

Because of the warm, charming personnal touches, you feel immediately at home.

Little minus : Supermarket nearby makes a little bit of noice in the mornings.

"Excellent - would stay again"

A really nice apartment! - I was in Edinburgh for a weekend for a friends wedding and was having trouble finding a reasonably priced hotel. This apartment was affordable and came with everything you would expect, and more - a real 'home from home'.

I travelled alone on this occasion but would happily take my partner and kids back with me. If you're reading this and considering booking then don't hesitate - you won't regret it!

Great Indian restaurant across the road. Easter Road is a wonderful street with nice restaurants ans easy grocery shopping.
We walked also to the center every day, we did not need a car.

"A great base for exploring a great city"

This apartment was spotless, tastefully decorated, fully equipped and very well organised. The kitchen was brand new and there was plenty of light throughout.
We liked the location, within easy walking distance of the old city centre and Holyrood Palace and Park, and we found everything we needed for self catering along Easter Road itself (supermarkets, bakery shops...). We also discovered a tasty Indian restaurant just across the street.
Great value for money: I will definitely be back again soon.

"A good flat in a convenient area of town."

A well presented flat in a good area of town. This flat was reasonably priced with a good finish throughout and located in a good area of town, convenient for all of the major sights.
The facilities in the flat were good, a well stocked kitchen, plenty of information on the local area and a clean, comfortable bed. Parking is on street nearby and while free it may take time to find a space in peak hours.
