The East Anglia region

'Sunrise' The Suffolk Holiday Lodge is situated in the tiny Suffolk coastal fishing hamlet of Sizewell. It is only a handful of steps off the Suffolk Coastal Path and is within easy walking distance of the quaint and quirky 1930's model village of Thorpeness, with its mere, windmill and 'house in the clouds'; and the seaside town of Aldeburgh, with its operatic links (Benjamin Britten) and mouth-watering fish and chips. To the north you will find the Minsmere Bird Reserve and the mysteries of the medieval sunken city of Dunwich. Inland the area is criss-crossed with innumerable footpaths and cycle tracks with at least seven differing wild life habitats all with their own unique flora and fauna. Standing on the lodge sun-deck looking north along the sea shore you will be able to see Minsmere, Dunwich, Walberswick, Southwold and in the far distance, Ness Point the most easterly point of the United Kingdom. You will also hopefully wake to breakfast overlooking the panoramic Sole Bay with the rising sun shimmering across the waves.
