Brewery Cottage is a spacious farm cottage situated at Mead Open Farm, Billington, near the market town of Leighton Buzzard. The Heast family has run the farm for 50 years, and for the past ten years it has been run as a working farm that is open to the public daily. In 2003 it won the `Farm Attraction of the Year` competition, being praised for a good range of activities, a friendly atmosphere and capable management. The farm exhibits a range of indoor and outdoor animals, and has outdoor climbing frames and a heated indoor play-barn that is well used in the winter months. Children are very welcome in Brewery Cottage and with the Open Farm on the cottage doorstep this makes an ideal setting for a family holiday (whilst staying at the cottage a free pass to the Open Farm is available).
Brewery Cottage is a comfortable, fully furnished and well-equipped semi-detached holiday property. All linen and towels are provided.
This a three bedroom property, with a ground floor twin, a double, and a single. The single bedroom has a pull out bed that converts the room into a small twin which is ideal for children. A cot and a highchair can be provided upon request. There is a downstairs cloakroom, and upstairs a family bathroom and an en-suite to the master bedroom.
The kitchen/dining Room is well equipped with a cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, and dishwasher. The room is open plan to the dining area, providing seating for six people, and through to the sitting room. The adjacent utility room houses a washing machine and tumble dryer.
The property has oil fired central heating and in the very spacious sitting area there is an open fireplace with a flame-effect gas fire. For your entertainment there is a radio, a television (with Freeview), a DVD player, a CD system and board games.
French doors lead from the sitting room to the patio area that overlooks 150ft of pretty, well-maintained, mature gardens. Off road parking is available for tenant`s use.

The cottage itself is on an open farm with indoor and outdoor play areas for the children, bottle feeding lambs, sheep racing, go-karts - the list is endless.
The Leighton Buzzard area
Leighton Buzzard is a glorious market town located in the county of Bedfordshire. One of the areas main attractions is the Leighton Buzzard railway, one of Britain's leading narrow gauge railways that escorts you back to a time forgotten, you can ride the train every Sunday and Bank Holiday. The back drop of the Chiltern Hills provides great walks and areas for exploring or if you fancy a more energetic day out why not take a trip to Ascott, Woburn Abbey or even Milton Keynes for a day shopping. There are excellent pubs and restaurants in Leighton Buzzard and a trip to the Tuesday or Saturday market is a must for any holiday maker.

Weekly rental includes all bills, electricity, council tax, broadband, linen and towels. A booking fee of £25.00 will apply, and includes VAT. Payment may be made by credit or debit card, BACs, cheque or cash, and cleared payment is requested before the start of your holiday.
A damage deposit of £100 will be requested on booking unless the booking is over four weeks in length, where a week's deposit will be requested.
Entrance to the Open Farm is also included.
