From sunrise to sunset you will love the large patio and 'infinity' pools which seem to flow into the sea! 3 bedroom air-conditioned stone villa built in the traditional style of the Mani region, comprising 3 double bedrooms, furnished with your comfort in mind. The main bedroom is situated on the ground floor and opens to the patio and pool, whilst the remaining 2 double bedrooms both open to the upstairs patio. The Villa is orientated to take advantage of the uninterrupted coastal views, cooling sea breezes and the magnificent sunsets.
Sunset Villa is less than 2 minutes drive to the crystal clear waters that lap the edges of variety of beautiful beaches. Enjoy the wide selection of delicious Greek regional cuisine at the many excellent Tavernas and fish restaurants nearby.
Not a beach fan? Then Stoupa and the Mani has plenty of interest photographically, and the subjest matter is brought to life by the light quality and direction. This is why so many painters love the mediterranean light. The peninsula faces both west and east, and this orientation is often advantageous. If you are a serious photographer, you will enjoy the early mornings and late evenings for many reasons including the light and shadow changes for three dimensional subjects such as villages and of course sunsets! Winter is especially interesting as from our villas we are blessed with dramatic views across the bay, which captures spectacular light and cloud patterns, scattered onto the sea and can be quite mesmerising. Just watching them form and change is enjoyment in itself.
Prefer a little history? On your doorstep in the Mani region are lots of churches, some dating from the 5th century AD, a monastery, Mycenean tombs, a Turkish/Venetian castle, tower houses and other places of interest. There are 10 walks of varying length and difficulty that are fully described and set out in an easily obtainable book by Mat Dean called "Walking In Mani"

The Peloponnese region
The Peloponnese is the most southern part of mainland Greece. This beautiful green peninsula plays host to almost every tourist who comes to Greece because most of Greece's important and imposing ancient sites are found here. Besides ancient monuments such as Olympia and Epidavros, the Peloponnese also serves as Greece's market garden and centre for olives, olive oil and wine production.
The dramatic coastline is filled with hidden coves and beaches, all backed by the Taygetos mountain range. The best way to explore this picturesque area is to hire a car and adventure and explore for yourself. The Peloponnese combines the scent of the sea, the mountains, olive trees, and vineyards. It is a place for all seasons
Lefktron / Stoupa area
Backed by the 2400m high Taygetos mountains, the opportunities for those who like to walk are endless. Ancient donkey roads, old shepherd paths and various marked routes take you through the surrounding mountain villages and forests where you will discover the wonderful regional flora and fauna.
For the sun seekers, the area enjoys a warm Mediterranean climate with warm summers and mild winters making it an ideal summer or winter destination. On average the sun shines for 3,000 hours per year. In July days can get hot, but are often cooled by the summer breezes called the "Meltemi" winds. From June to August rainfall is rare. In Stoupa you may hire a small motor boat and explore the coast, discovering stunning caves and inlets that you would not know existed from the landward side! Trachila to the south is full of old pirate caves that date back centuries.
Summer is much longer than you would expect ,with beautiful clear days right through to December and January. Wild flowers of every colour cover the landscape from late September, right through until May.
How to get there

Guestbook for "Sunset Villa"
I want to thank you for our stay in your beautiful villa in Peloponnese. We had a great holiday and everything went well! We really liked the villa. Thanks for everything once more! Jon & Heli Brander. Finland
The area is so beautiful, and your position is so quiet and peaceful and the views so spectacular that it does draw you back again! We found ourselves just relaxing and chilling out, compared to previous rushed holidays. The villa is tastefully furnished and we can see that expense has not been spared here! Julie Hodson. England
We have just returned from Stoupa and wanted to say how very lovely the villa was. The sunsets and views are unbelievable. Photos cannot do them justice. The villa is absolutely beautiful. It is tasteful and stylish and also manages to be very comfortable. We also found the beds incredibly comfortable. The pool was fabulous and as it was incredibly hot needed it to cool us down. We also were welcomed by some wild tortoises on our journey up to the villa, and often spotted eagles circling the mountains behind the villa which was a nice surprise. Thank you for the opportunity of staying at Sunset Villa we would recommend it .Many thanks the Joannides Family. England
We returned yesterday from Stoupa. We had a great time there. The house is beautiful and the view awsome! Our son enjoyed the pool and he enjoyed every minute of our stay there! Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that you've done a wonderful job with these two villas. They are very well maintained. Our son told us that he wouild like to go again next summer and we are considering it. Keep up the good work, Evangelia Panopoulou. Athens.
We want you to know that we really, really enjoyed our stay at the wonderful Sunset Villa which appeared in real to be even better than we ever could have anticipated from the photos. The whole picture of setting, view, area, complete furniture and climate assured wonderful holidays! We felt at home from the very first minute. We also never got bored eating out in Stoupa with all it s lovely restaurants Finally: Anne and me made a promise long time ago that we would never go to the same places twice or more on holidays, just to keep ourselves sharp. We both agreed already that the Sunset Villa's got it all and therefore are really tempting to break the vow.......Reggie, Anne & Boys, Netherlands.
Just wanted to drop you a note to say how much we enjoyed our holiday in Stoupa and that we really did think your villas were fabulous. We had a really great time in a beautiful location with lovely accommodation. We have agreed that it was one of our best holidays. Our girls loved having their own pool....... They struck a very sad picture on Saturday morning when we left as they were sitting on the paving overlooking the bay with their arms around each other in floods of tears !!! We would like to book the villa for the same time next year. Thankyou for the opportunity to stay at your lovely place ! Jan & family, England.
