Set in its own private and secluded plot and surrounded by olive groves, the villa is around a 10 minute drive to Lefkas town and the beautiful, blue flagged Ag. Ioannis and Gira beaches. A little further on, there are the paradise-like beaches of the West Coast.
Apart from the amazing views, the villa has also been specifically located to capture the cooling Mediterranean breezes. The villa's grounds are grassed and stone paved with many flowering plants and shrubs.
There is a large swimming pool 14 metres by 7 metres with a diving board. The pool area has a bar and barbecue with sun beds, table, chairs and umbrellas.

The Ionian Islands region
Lefkas is the forth largest of the Ionian Islands and is situated off the west coast of Greece. It is located south of Corfu and north of Kephalonia and Zante. It is linked to the mainland by a 50 metre causeway and a ferry crossing is not necessary.
This small town has kept its authenticity and has great charm and beauty. With 117km of coastline and fantastic scenery this island is truly outstanding.
Lefkas / Apolpena area
Lefkada town is mostly as it was many years ago, the narrow streets and small tavernas being very picturesque. Many hours can be spent in the evenings when it is cooler strolling around the shops and the light holds in mid summer until 10pm.
There are many monasteries and fortresses to visit on and close to the Island, one very large monastery is close to Villa Spatharies.
Probably the biggest attraction to the island is the coastline and beaches, over two hundred kilometres of beaches, and mostly sandy ones on the west coast.
How to get there
Most visitors from England, Czech and distant European countries fly into Preveza airport and taxi into Lefkas.
Visitors from nearer European countries drive, arriving into Igonomitza ferry port and then to Lekas, some 90 kms down the coast.
Flights into Athens require a coach or taxi into Lefkas.

Further details indoors: The spacious accommodation of 240 sq. metres on the two upper floors is approached by a marble floored entrance and stairway. Floor 1 consists of three large comfortable bedrooms, one with en suite shower room and further double and twin bedrooms, all having floor to ceiling windows, terraces and wonderful views. The family bathroom has twin sinks and full size bath with shower over. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and there is another exterior stairway leading to the pool area.
Floor 2 is open plan with generously proportioned lounge, dining and kitchen areas with feature arches and open fireplace. The fully fitted modern kitchen comprises fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. There is another shower room on this floor. Again, large windows surround the top floor leading onto extensive terraces and giving some of the most enviable views on the island.
