About the home

Located at Dessimi Bay on the East Coast of Lefkas, this private villa is only a short drive to Nidri town, and just a less than a mile to some very nice restaurants in nearby Genni and of course there is a small Greek fish taverna very close by.

Villa Dessimi - positioned within metres of the crystal clear waters of Dessimi Beach, No other villa offers direct access to the beach like this one. The house is accessed via a sealed road, and remote controlled gates to driveway, leading to secure parking.

Finished to the highest standard, it offers large bedrooms with double and twin beds, elegant marble bathroom/en suite with spa bath, a second full bathroom for use after swimming, tastefully furnished throughout, spacious living room overlooking the beach, separate dining room, fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, and full laundry facilities.
The lounge and dining rooms have direct access to the terrace areas, and additional outdoor dining area and sun lounges offer perfect alfresco entertaining overlooking the tranquil blue waters of Dessimi.

All aspects from the house have picturesque sea and mountain views.
The gardens are filled with fruit trees and roses. A perfect holiday location, offering water sports, fishing, hiking or simply just relaxing by the beach. Local beach tavernas and all amenities are nearby.
The sound of waves at your doorstep will leave you mesmerised and coming back for more.

The beautiful island of Lefkas has it all. The island has lush green forests, picture perfect beaches with crystal clear waters.

Enjoy the unspoilt and traditional charm of the Greek Island of Lefkas, all within easy driving access of the mainland. The fourth largest of the Ionian Islands boasts 117 km of coastline, from long sandy beaches to small rocky coves backed by the rugged white cliffs from which the island takes its name.

The dramatic central mountain ridge is softened by an array of lush green valleys clad in olive groves and vineyards with tall cypress trees standing sentinel. Women wearing the traditional dresses and fine lace shawls continue cottage industries or help with the unchanging Greek rural life.

Being positioned only metres back from the crystal clear waters of Dessimi Beach, it also has a Taverna also on the beach that serves traditional Greek cuisine while you enjoy the beautiful view of the bay and neighbouring islands. Water sports, fishing, diving, wind surfing and paddle boats on the beach in front of the villa, what more could you ask for!

Alternatively you can visit the popular nearby towns of -

Nidri:
Just 5 minutes drive, or 20 minutes easy walk the cosmopolitan town of Nidri lies in sharp contrast to the sleepy village of Vlicho. With a variety of shops, bars, tavernas and restaurants it is an ideal place to sit on the harbour front watching the world go by. From here one can take regular boat trips to neighbouring islands, often accompanied by inquisitive dolphins. The gently sloping beach provides safe bathing, even for the youngest, while the more adventurous can partake in the water sports on offer, including paragliding and the “flying fish”. For those preferring more tranquil water sports, small motor boats, sailing dinghies and yachts may be hired. By night the pedestrian area comes alive and for the young at heart there are a number of unobtrusive clubs and discos. Those wanting to explore further can hire bicycles, scooters or cars.

Haradiatika
A short distance away lies the hidden gem of Haradiatika, with its white stone square surrounded by small traditional buildings. Protected on three sides by the towering mountains refresh yourself at one of the welcoming tavernas. Use all your senses to appreciate the flora and fauna of the island.

Lefkada Town
On the Northern tip, the island’s main town of Lefkada displays it’s unique architecture. It’s vibrant pedestrian area, surrounded by exclusive shops, bars, museums and churches, contrasts with yet compliments it’s up to date large marina with all the facilities the yachting fraternity may wish for.

Vassiliki
On the South coast the town of Vassiliki is a haven for those who enjoy water sports, mountain biking or hiking, with an abundance of leisure facilities. For those not as sporty an abundance of bars and restaurants hug the harbour side.

The two weeks we spent at this villa were unbelievable! We have stayed at many villas, but this is the only one with the beach in front of the house. We will be definitely coming back to this one!

"We had a lovely time there, the weather was lovely and the location superb. The villa was well equipped to a very high standard. Some extra plants to the side fro extra privacy would improve privacy however this isn't a major thing, just a suggestion which would make the villa 11 out of 10!!

Booking and Rental Conditions

1. To secure your booking, a deposit of 20% is required. This deposit is non refundable.

2. The balance is due eight weeks before your arrival date.

3. If your booking is made eight weeks prior to your arrival date, then full payment is required at the time of booking.

4. Cancellations must be notified in writing and will be effective form the date of receipt.

5. Villa changeover days are Sundays and occupancy time commences from 14:30. On day of departure the villa must be vacated by 9:30.

6. Damage and Breakages

Guests are responsible for any costs incurred from damage or breakage during their occupancy.

There may be a small security deposit payable.

No smoking or pets within the villa.
