"Lovely cottage for a getaway"
We stayed here for a long weekend whilst attending a friend's wedding in Eastnor. The house is lovely and has been renovated recently so it was in pristine condition. The kitchen is well equipped. We really enjoyed staying here, Gavin was a fantastic host and really helpful. A constructive comment we have is that the master bedroom could do with a blind- it was very bright in the morning when you were trying to sleep in. You will definitely need a car around here. Taxi to Eastnor was around £25

"Convenient location and superbly equipped"
Very friendly owner with nice pre stay information and good directions. ( sat nav doesn't take you to the property!) and also very flexible re arrival and departure times. We liked the modern decor and all kitchen appliances including dishwasher and American style fridge. Resident peacock also kept us entertained! We would have liked more up to date tourist leaflets as the ones here were a bit out of date but other than that and it would also have been nice to have had some comfy outdoor chairs and a cheese grater! we had no complaints and will definitely stay again.

"Lovely homely cottage, well equipped kitchen"
We originally booked to stay in March for a friends wedding nearby, however the snow put off our stay, and the owner Gavin kindly agreed to let us move our stay to may.
The cottage is in a lovely countryside location but close to the local amenities in Ledbury. It is very well converted and the finish is to a high standard, and has a nice homely feel. The kitchen is well equipped - with many things including sharp knives (a rarity in most holiday lets!).
Broadband was good (a previous review said it was slow but we had no probs!). We stayed with our young child and property was suitable for him too.
The only thing we would suggest is fitting a black out blind to the velux in the bedroom.

"Quiet, comfortable country retreat"
We stayed at the Stables for three nights in April. An absolutely lovely location in the country, yet close to Ledbury- though a car is necessary. Some fun apple orchards and cider houses in the area.… More

"Well equipped and warm for winter break"
Pretty barn complex, well finished, great underfloor heating which really warmed the whole cottage; we had snow off and on all week. A car is definitely needed Ledbury is about 5 miles for everyday shopping Tesco, Co-op plus many delightful individual shops and market. Recommend Ceci Paolo deli for treats, excellent butchers opposite too, and The Feathers for relaxed lunch. Hereford, Cheltenham, Ross all easy driving 30 minutes or so. Michelin starred The Butchers Arms also a must.

"Perfect cottage, perfect atmosphere, perfect place."
This trip was made last minute so we weren't sure what to expect of the area or cottage. It was simply perfect. When we arrived we were bowled over by the place, it had been newly refurbished, it… More
