Large Andalucian village house with private pool in the heart of the stunning Lecrin Valley. Casa Epfal is a spacious comfortable 5-bedroomed house in this peaceful village of Melegis offering views over the Lecrin Valley with its olive and almond trees spreading out in the distance.
The Lecrin Valley runs between the historical city of Granada and the tropical coast of Salobrena. The house is situated in the quiet part of the village were you can walk among the orange and lemon groves.

The Costa Tropical/Granada region
The Lecrin Valley and Sierra Nevada are famous for walking and cycling enthusiasts. Our meet and greet personnel can supply further information. The Spa town of Lanjaron is 10 mins drive from Melegis. It is well known for its hydrothermal centre which provides spa treatments, massages, thermal beauty treatments and physiotherapy. The Alhambra Palace is also worth a visit.
Coast/Beach Casa Epfal is only 20 minutes drive away from Motril and Salobrena beaches . There are 2 water parks within a 30 minutes drive that are both excellent for children. In Salobrena you can have a wonderful seafood lunch on the beach and wander around the old town and Moorish castle.
Golf There are three golf courses within 25 minutes drive, Santa Clara being the closest, just 15 minutes drive. Los Moriscos is located on the coast approx 25 minutes away. Granada golf club is located south of Granada approx 25 minutes away
Skiing Sierra Nevada's Sol y Nieve (Sun and Snow) is Europe's most southerly ski resort. You can ski from the end of November to the middle of April. All ski equipment and ski wear can be hired at the resort. The resort offers 85 km of slopes of all grades. Ski passes etc are also purchased at the resort. From Melegis you can be in the resort within 50 minutes.
Further details Melegis has a population of approx 1200. It has two bakeries, two small supermarkets, two bars and restaurants and a tobacconist plus local bank and beautiful old church. Pharmacy, dentist and medical centre in nearby Talara appox 2km. Durcal is the closest large town approx 10 mins drive which has all necessary shops and amenities
How to get there
Granada airport is approx 30 minutes from Melegis. Malaga airport is approx 1 hour 30 minutes and Almeria is approx 1 hour 50 minutes. These are excellent roads and are very pleasent scenic journeys
Car hire is recommended.

Conditions
- Deposit of a third of the total must be paid in advance in order to secure the booking - Deposit will not be refunded if cancellation is made less than 4 weeks before the arrival date
- Final payment must be made by bank transfer 4 weeks prior to holiday. If booked at short notice payment must be made in full by bank transfer
- On arrival a breakage deposit of 150 euros must be paid to meet and greet personnel, this amount will be refunded on departure if no damage is made to the property
-Winter Heating Charge - £80 per week -Please note house is non-smoking and no pets allowed
-Changeover day is Saturday, however we can be flexible for mid week bookings, please contact us for more details. On departure day holiday makers must leave at 12 noon, however this is also flexible if there is no immediate occupancy.
