A compact, two-bedroomed apartment, with kitchen/breakfast room, private patio and swimming pool, (subject to season), situated in a beautiful garden, with ample space for a family.
The house sits in a large and private garden, nestling in the valley of the Rio Durcal in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains, in a rural situation, but just 5 minutes drive from the small market town of Durcal, with shops, bars and restaurants.

The Costa Tropical/Granada region
Granada city, famed for the Alhambra – the Moorish palace, is steeped in history and culture. It still boasts the Albaicin – or gipsy quarter, with it’s flamenco traditions, as well as a modern cosmopolitan city.
Climate: Southern Spain, hot in the summer months, particularly late June and all July. Cooler in the mornings and evenings in May, August and September, with warm to hot days.
Although often hot during sunny days, October, March and April can be wet and chilly. Cold winters with snow on the Sierras.
Lecrin / Durcal area
The area is mountainous, we are at 800 metres, and very beautiful. For walkers the GR7 (European walking route is nearby), as are many,many other walks and hikes of varying difficulty.
Ideal for walking and hiking or just to get away from it all. We do suggest you hire a car to take advantage of the area.
Within half an hour are the beaches of the Costa Tropical at Salobrena and just forty minutes away the bustling resort town of Almunecar.
Granada City – 20 minutes Beaches at Salobrena, Costa Tropical – 30 minutes Lanjaron and the Alpujarras – 40 minutes Regular bus service to Granada from Durcal.
How to get there
Best flights are Ryanair Stansted or Liverpool to Granada. You can also find many flights into Malaga from all over the UK, but Malaga is one and a half to two hours drive from here.

We can lend DVD player, hair-dryer, etc. We provide a welcome pack of bread, milk, tea, coffee, etc. Good supermarket nearby. Other shopping on request for late arrivals.
Further details outdoors: Smoking is allowed outside - but not in the house. You are able to make use of the garden at all times. Barbecue available.

A hundred little jewels - within 24 hours we were more relaxed than ever in our lives. Mr&Mrs H, Woking Spectacular views and scenery in such a beautiful area, will be in our minds till we visit again.
