This is a lovely spacious property situated in a quiet area of a typical Spanish Andalusian town, so far untouched and unspoilt by tourism. The house comfortably sleeps 6 has two large sun terraces and shares a communal swimming pool. Lebrija provides a great base to explore the local region. Seville is approximately 1 hour drive, Jerez 20 mins and Cadiz 45 mins all accessible by fast and efficient train service from Lebrija.

The Andalucia region

Costa de la Luz is at the western part of the Andalucian coastline. It has very little high rise development in comparison to other Spanish regions. There is lots to do in the area and Lebrija serves as a great base for all types of holidays.

The beaches are expansive, sandy and popular with swimmers and watersports enthusiasts. The closest beach is Sanlucar de Barrameda, about a 20 minutes drive from Lebrija and Chipiona and Rota are close by. Sanlucar hosts the popular horse racing event on the beach during August each year, an event which has been running since 1845. Excellent seafood restaurants can be found in these resorts.

The region also boasts the picturesque 'pueblos blancos' (white walled villages) within easy reach through beautiful hill side scenery. It is also a great area for a walking holiday. The Donana National Park has one of the most important wetland reserves in Europe with excellent bird watching opportunities.

Seville, Jerez and Cadiz offer great culture and sightseeing, tapas bars, flamenco shows, sherry tasting and shopping. Jerez hosts the famous horse festival, (Feria de Jerez), flamenco festival and the MotoGP. There is a waterpark close by providing great fun for children of all ages.


Lebrija is a typical Spanish town. There are many restaurants, cafes and tapas bars to choose from. There are several supermarkets in the town, the nearest one is less than 10 minutes walk from the house. An indoor market offers fresh produce daily. Lebrija is an old town steeped in history providing several historical monuments and museums to visit. There are many attractive plazas where one can sit and enjoy a coffee, sherry, cerveza or ice cream, while taking in the relaxing charm and ambience of the town.

I am glad you had a really good time and thank you for the feedback. We have taken note of your comments regarding the cafetiere and have purchased a Nespresso machine we also provide an excellent choice of coffees for everyone to enjoy.

We use the house a lot and often get lost in Lebrija, but this is part of the fun and charm of the town as its nice just to stop and take in the atmosphere having a drink at the local bars/cafes.

We really appreciate your lovely review, we do try our best to provide a very good standard of accommodation for all to enjoy. We are also very lucky that we have an English lady on hand to manage any issues that may arise and our neighbours always provide helpful guidance and tips for our guests.

We hope that you make it back to Lebrija soon and try out the new coffee machine!!!!

"Lovely holiday home in an excellent location"

We have just spent one month staying in this lovely house in Lebrija and I can thoroughly recommend it to anyone wishing for a home from home in a friendly central location.

Lebrija itself is a small, friendly town with plenty of cafes and bars etc. It also has a daily market and plenty of local shops. Seville, Cadiz and Jerez are all easily accessible from Lebrija (and all are well worth a visit).

Lovely house, good location, friendly helpful neighbours and Spanish sunshine - what more do you need for a successful holiday.

"A great, relaxing family holiday - highly recommended"

We had a fabulous family holiday here last August and it was perfect for what we wanted - sun, sea, and lots of R&R!
We have 2 young children - 3 and 6 years old girls - so we wanted a relaxing holiday that we could all enjoy. The girls loved the pool and spent hours in it. It was very safe and all enclosed so meant I could relax with my book at the same time which was great!
The house is very spacious and has everything you need, including some UK tele which was a bonus for kids TV before bedtime!
There was lots to do and places to visit nearby which was great as it meant we could go out for part of the day and then come back to the pool to cool off.
We also found a great waterpark about 20mins away which the girls loved .
There are various lovely, long beaches nearby which we visited and were relatively quiet even in August, and we were lucky enough to see the famour horse racing at Sanlucar, whilst we were there which was great.
We didn't get to sample much of the local cuisine unfortunately but there were lots of places to eat. It was just easier for us to make use of the BBQ at the house and the local supermarket had a great range of meat and fish so we made use of this instead.
I would recommend hiring a car to make the most of everything the area has to offer. We found it very easy to find our way around and it was an easy journey from Seville airport as well.
