Royal Leamington Spa is located in the heart of England and provides the visitor with an ideal base to explore the towns and countryside of Warwickshire. Within easy access to Leamington are: Stratford upon Avon (10 miles), Shakespeare’s birth place and home to The Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Warwick Castle (3miles) - voted the UKs finest medieval castle, Kenilworth with its beautiful Abbey Fields and Kenilworth Castle, Birmingham is an easy 25 minutes train journey that takes you directly to the Bullring and Selfridges, Visit the colleges or hire a punt on the river in Oxford just 40 miles away, London is 1 hr 40 minutes by train, and picturesque Cotswold villages are also within a 40 minute drive. Other places to vist include National Trust properites, Stately homes and gardens such as Baddesley Clinton, Charlecote Park, Chesterton Mill, Compton Verney, Coughton Court, Garden Organic Ryton, Hidcote Manor, Kenilworth Castle, the National Herb Centre, Packwood House and Ragley Hall.
Theatre is also strong in the area with the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, and the Swan in Stratford upon Avon, and Warwick Arts Centre, The Belgrade Theatre both in Coventry.
Shopping is excellent in Leamington and Birmingham is easily accessible by train and is a great day out - lunch at the Noddle Bar in Selfridges or Brindley Place is always a favourite.
Many of the most picturesque Cotswold villages are within a 40 minute drive.

If you like to shop, Leamington boasts over 400 shops including leading high street names and exclusive boutiques.
The Assembly is a stunning, Art Deco, multi-function venue in the centre of Leamington designed by Lawrence Llewellyn-Bowen and won the highly coveted Music Week Award for 'Best Live Music Venue' in 2010 aswell as winning the award for 'Best Live Entertainment Venue' at the 2009 and 2010 Godiva Awards and definitely worth a visit if you enjoy music from the 60s 70s and 80s.
Newbold Leisure Centre provides a swimming pool and gym.
Just 3 miles from Leamington is Warwick with its fantastic Castle, Lord Leycester Hospital, St Mary's Church and crypt, Guy's Cliffe House and great pubs and restaurants

We enjoyed a very warm and friendly welcome to this beautiful apartment. It is modern, clean and well equipped, cosy and quiet , and has the added advantage of being within walking distance of all the amenities offered by Leamington Spa and its surrounds. We left the car parked most of the time and walked or used public transport, Leamington is very centrally placed. We were given access to the patio and garden area where we were able to sit and enjoy a quiet evening or two, weather permitting. We would recommend this apartment , very readily, and we hope to be able to return in the not too distant future. Response: Many thanks for you kind comments.
