L'Opale holiday villa is situated in a residential area in the tranquil woods of Le Touquet, very close to the golf courses, it offers spacious holiday accommodation for up to 10 people and a baby. The large garden with barbeque facilities and garden furniture provide the makings for a perfect summer holiday evening. Le Touquet beach with its expansive white sandy dunes is only minutes away.

Le Touquet – Paris Plage (or Paris by the sea) is renowned as a top seaside resort with good reason. Le Touquet is THE major holiday destination along the Opale Coast and has been since the 1930’s when it was the seasonal haunt of the English as well as the French upper classes (Edward & Mrs Simpson were often discreet houseguests). Its shops and restaurants reflect its heyday and still continue to cater to the tastes of the majority of today’s holiday makers and holiday house owners – the Parisians. Here you will find the latest in fashion, eateries, and all manner of sporting facilities & events, concerts and exhibitions throughout the year. Unlike other beach resorts Le Touquet is open all year.
Le Touquet area
Le Touquet beach is unsurpassed in the region. Mile upon mile of white sand backed at either end by undulating sand dunes. If, like the French, your taste is for crowds, lots of beachside activities, snack bars, restaurants and of course, the omnipotent Aqualud, water park then you need go no farther than the centre of the beach to find it all – in spades! During the Summer months Le Touquet Beach is home to many kids clubs run by French students & teachers you can leave your kids for an hour or book a whole morning or afternoon. Kids club activities in Le Touquet are focused on sporty activities so make sure you leave plenty of drink for your child. Costs vary but generally its pretty cheap and very safe as each club is well secured within a gated area on the beach.
From its pristine villas discreetly hidden behind pine trees and manicured lawns to the ½ timbered Edwardian villas that line the back roads close to the centre, Le Touquet has a well worn charm of its own. After dark the centre is alive with outdoor dining, cafes, music bars, nightclubs, casinos and concerts – even the aqualud has an evening session staying open until midnight. How to get there
By ferry Dover Calais or Boulogne, then an easy drive south down the autoroute A16 to Le Touquet. The journey time to our villa is about 50 from Calais or 30 minutes using Ld Lines ferries to Boulogne. We can also offer cheap ferry tickets when booked with our accommodation. The self catering villa is about 40 minutes from the channel tunnel or another fun option is to fly to Le Touquet airport from Lydd Airport in Southeast Kent . LyddAir operates regularly scheduled weekend flights throughout the year. Additionally there are additional flights during July and August which allow greater flexibility in planning short summer breaks on the Opale coast.

Mrs Staddon We were more than satisfied with the facilities at L'Opale. It was very comfortable and we felt very much at home. We would like to have stayed longer and look forward to returning
Mr Stalker We found our stay at L Opale a real joy the owners were very helpful and friendly nothing was to much trouble, the accommodation was superb, clean and very comfortable, close to town even closer to two great golf courses many other great courses close by, we stayed for a long weekend and didnt want to return home, we all loved everything about the property and the area we will definitely be returning in the very near future.
Mrs Laxton Very well equipped house with lots of space. The children all loved playing with the many games, and riding their bikes around the garden and down the drive. Le Touquet is a short drive away, or if you are feeling fit, a very pleasant bike ride away! Lots of things to do if the weather is bad, but if the weather is good the only place to be is on the long sandy beach. Would definitely go back for another visit..
